Since SD removed the datamines for upcoming Spotlight Caches, somebody made a proposed Spotlight Cache based on the upcoming variant skins they found. So take all this with a massive grain of salt, but it'll probably be something along these lines:

Apparently that Mecha Break game is just another hero shooter, which is hugely disappointing. Really thought we might be getting a stylish, fast-paced, gundam-inspired action game.

Finished Lfrith! Definitely benefits from panel lining to bring out all the detail that otherwise gets lost in all the white.

Darn it, why is there an actual 1602 Angela when ages back I bought the Fantasy (epic) variant Angela to play with my 1602 deck?! WHYYYY?

(Disregard that 1602 is really, really bad. Especially with the Kingpin change. I used to have a prayer of actually destroying Bucky with a Cloak/Kingpin thing but now... nope)

Having fun in the mid-80s with Miracle Monkey Bounce. It uses Hit Monkey, Bishop, and WWBN as big point sticks, while using Beast, Black Swan, and Falcon to bounce/mana cheat to build up the big 3. Lots of thinking and no tech cards, but you can put out a lot of points on T6.

List if you wanna try it yourself:
    • Hood
    • Bast
    • Forge
    • Iceman
    • Nico
    • Beast
    • Falcon
    • Mysterio
    • Bishop
    • Hit Monkey
    • Black Swan
    • WWBN* (can be Shang Chi but not necessary)

    Key synergies:
    • Bast hits everything good except Black Swan and WWBN (don't hit your Demons)
    • All your 1-drops are awesome to pick up and replay
    • If you have Black Swan, Beast, and Hit Monkey in hand, snap (see below)
    • T4 Black Swan, T5 1-drop vomit > Hit Monkey > Beast the Hit Monkey lane is a ton of points that can be redeployed for almost nothing on T6
    • Careful plan out your final turn with WWBN on the board (especially if you're gonna Mysterio). Remember he needs space to hop.

Fantasy High: Junior Year Episode 5 spoilers:
It's hard to believe that was a two round fight! A lot happened! Never have I seen a battle go so right and also so very wrong at the end. I think higher level battles can be difficult to parse sometimes as a player when the goals aren't just "obliterate the enemy as soon as possible" or the when the initial layout shifts so quickly, and it was very unclear what they should be doing at any given moment. The super swole mage minis looked really cool, though.

Also, the whole subversion of the chronomancy thing was pretty funny where they are once again given a chance to manipulate time by having 10 seconds to tell themselves something in their own past, and nothing really changes because they just have no actionable things they can say. I wonder if The Hangman gets some confusing telepathic commands from AltFabian during the party. :)

After years and years and years of buying jarred marinara, I finally stopped being a coward and made my own using this video as a motivator and a base.

    https://youtu.be/y6Bq8NrdoIk?si=pnuD1spxNOvA2nF7

The results? I've been wasting my life and money and precious time on jarred sauce. Goddamn, that was easy and amazing and it's just the most base level of what I could do.

Obnoxiously specific question! I'm looking for a decent gun to be my aoe problem solver that I won't hate using. Guns that I currently use as problem solvers include the Lenz, Atomos, Sonicor, Amprex (my strongest, easily), and Ignis Wraith.

But they're all kind of lame for one reason or another. Look lame, sound lame, a bow, etc.

Is there, like, a big 'endless cascade of poorly aimed munitions firing in a cone' gun out there? Or something that does explosions without it being unsatifying spherical energy explosions. Also not a weird grenade launcher or whatever.

The Steflos feels really satisfying and is sort of what I want in terms of gameplay, from my brief use of it in Duviri Experience recently. But it's shooting a big bubble so...

Any explosive round automatics or homing micro-rockets or shotguns with 90s-fps levels of spread out there I should be farming?

I basically want to take the Mesa experience with me on every frame: pretending I'm aiming, because that activates neurons, but not having to really aim all that much, because tbh there's too much stuff to aim at sometimes.

(Tenet) Arca Plasmor is technically a shotgun, but shoots giant penetrating energy waves. That bounce off surfaces.

No. The Epitaphs AoE is great as a primer (for various slash or condition overload schemes), but it's terrible for actually killing stuff. And it's a weird grenade launcher.

Sporelacer is closer (having ginormous killing power). But it's still a weird auto-grenade launcher.

Pyrana prime might fit, being an automatic shotgun cone of death.

Oh, I totally read the post wrong lol. I don't think there really is a gun that provides the mesa experience. Nothing that fires fast enough wouldn't be able to kill anything if it wasn't accurate. I guess you could use a tetra with bouncing projectiles and punch through, but that's still not really the same.

My suggestion would be the Cedo.

It's primary fire is a wide-spraying automatic shotgun.
It's secondary fire is a Glaive-like projectile (with high status) that goes full Krull, bouncing around the map and exploding everything.

pyrana prime has gotten kind of powercrept sadly, or at least I can't figure out a build for it that makes it feel good and slaughter-y like it used to. It's also not a huge AOE killer, it's just a little auto shotgun pistol.

I recommend the Trumna. Autocannon shooting explosive shells, that charges up to be a grenade launcher now and then. Not huge AOE, but you can definitely just sort of walk fire onto your targets. It's also really satisfying-sounding.

I thought I was just going to watch Fantasy High stuff and then catch up to Junior Year.

I'm glad I didn't. Though my watching has been slow.

Fantasy High Season 1: Fucking good stuff, love how the players themselves grew as players throughout the campaign.
Escape from the Bloodkeep: I just really loved it. It was a little too dark and grimy for me at the beginning during introductions but it got really good.
Unsleeping City Season 1: Other than the final battle, I really loved this. I loved all the NYC references and how much natural charm they gave it, and made NYC not just a setting and not just a character, but several characters.
Tiny Heist: Eh I wasn't digging the intro, I might come back to it
Crown of Candy: Currently watching, about halfway through, holy shit this is so fucking good. I think this would be a miserable game to play but it's extremely entertaining to watch. At least thus far it beats the shit out of Game of Thrones in terms of writing, despite being improv and a game. I think this is the first campaign where Emily Axford has really annoyed the shit out of me, though.
Episode 9 of Crown of Candy may be one of the most narratively epic and emotionally packed episodes across all of Dimension 20. I think Emily Axford’s choices as Jet accurately reflect the kind of character she is, even if some parts are grating or hostile. There’s a deep sense of wanting her father’s approval while simultaneously being kind of a royal brat who doesn’t take responsibility. It’s a nuanced character, if not necessarily sympathetic.

After you finish Crown of Candy, head straight to The Ravening War, which is a short 6 episode (but epic in scope) jaunt which has Brennan running as a player in the world he created, along with Matt Mercer expertly GMing. It has a different feel because it encompasses a story that progresses through many YEARS with large level and time skips.
