- what kind of flour?
The answer to that question is yes.
I also feel extremely dumb for not intuiting that the Parasitic Vitality augment for Nidus would be mutually exclusive with other Vitality mods.

Yeah, Lords of the Fallen is middling, on par with the first set of 'good' Soulslikes like The Surge or Nioh 1, while Lies of P is peak on par with a FromSoft game (without the caveat I give my other favorite Soulslike, Code Vein, which I enjoy as much as a FromSoft game despite it not truly being on their level).
Getting near the end of Lunacid, I think that while it's really cool and well worth the money and a playthrough if you enjoy exploration and finding new spells and weapons and thinking hmm, is that somewhere I can go instead of just a death pit/bit of environment?, the gameplay and combat is severely lacking.
Enemies sometimes have gimmicks and do unique things, but it's not balanced or tuned enough for them to matter at all outside of matching your element to their weakness. The two bosses I've fought (I'm pretty sure there are only, like, three total) I just walked up to and charge attacked to death because nothing else was really worth doing, etc.
Everything else is stellar, though, so it's still above a game like Ashen IMO, where it's a cool first impression and art style and nothing else.
I'm debating whether I want to poke around in Elden Ring some more next, revisit Code Vein since it's been a while, pick up Wo Long, or get back into Lords of the Fallen now that it's had more time to cook.
So unless Zabu, when would you play him and alongside what? Decks with the Maw don’t need him because they already Zero’d or Sauron’d.
Play turn 5 wherever you want with Jean on the board maybe.
His cost/power and one-turn wonder just make him awkward for me to consider fitting in anywhere. Jeff! is just a better include in every way, and every case for War Machine I can think of would almost rather be Legion instead.

ah yeah. Like blake said, bread flour will probably help the texture - also that seems like quite a lot of sugar, relative to flour. 2 teaspoons, i could maybe see.
(I've also made a lot of bread with regular ol flour without having cakey issues, but also I usually use a no-knead recipe with a very long rise, a wet dough, and no added sugar at all - so there's a lot of variables at play there).

I've seen a few deck ideas out there using him are:
He's definitely not game breaking, but a good card. Kind of nice to not have a super spike power level card after some of the last few weeks.

so you're really going hard just to avoid storm, and there's a lot of better cards to accomplish that without having to have wm in your deck.
this is not terribly surprising to me, pineapples are so acidic. I've seen this happen to ancient cans of tomatoes forgotten on a pantry shelf too.
I also love some of the Greatest Hits from previous seasons, like (obviously) Romance Partner, Edgar the Rat, Gilear's little "totems" (like the rideshare app card and cottage cheese).
Also, that CLUTCH Mindless Rage from Gorgug. My god. That'll go down in the history just like Operation Slippery Puppet or Murph casting Knock.
Speaking of Murph... relying on him to roll poorly was so hilarious.
And the preview for next week has the intrepid heroes wasting two questions from Speak with the Dead on "Sup?"

Yes. The droprate for Dante/Onos/Ruvox parts is abyssmal, but it's OK for Neo/Axi relics and the Capillaries used to buy the stuff in the shop drops at an OK rate (10-12 per round)

Almost. The node layout means that there is a bit of extra work to get between nodes, but it's pretty fast and Necramech demolisher are relatively sedate compared to some of the other factions Demolishers. Difficulty level is definitely below Lua.
P.S: Either that or my gear has become much better than when I was chasing Demolishers on Lua.

And then when it's over nobody thinks to ask any questions or wonder about the full implications of what happened?
One of this year's new shows is going to be a Jackbox - Talking Points/TED Talk-esque thing where the usual suspects of Dropout present Powerpoints that they make up. During the pandemic, my friends and I had a series of "Turt Talks" (like TED Talks, but with our Turtle mascot) where we presented Powerpoint presentations about any topic that interested us, from Pokemon to cartography. This has a very similar vibe, and it's probably going to be even more entertaining.
They SHOULD give Erika Ishii a Gundam. Just sayin'.

To be fair, DoFP was originally 2 issues.
I'll admit that combo execution as the barrier to skill expression is rough for me. I'm consistently worse at combos than anyone at my rank in every fighting game I play, I survive entirely on other strengths.
But the thing with Nioh 1 in particular is that you can do the crazy skill ceiling thing...but it's not actually optimal in most cases. Focusing everything into a single spammable active skill that'll hit like a machine gun firing nukes is more powerful than doing crazy flux combos. And that's ignoring how ridiculously powerful your super mode is in Nioh 1 with trivial 100% uptime for it. Also enemy variety is fairly lacking, strongly favoring humans.
Comparing Nioh to Souls is kind of like God Eater gameplay vs Monster Hunter, actually; it feels like you can do more cool things in the former, but it's just for fun because what's optimal is just hitting with your one good skill over and over and over while the enemy stands there and dies. Which you can do in MH or in Dark Souls, but generally comes with a speedrunner level of mastery rather than being something most players will be doing midway through the game.
Also the loot, man the ARPG loot flavor just doesn't mix well with other genres for me, especially since it makes exploration and finding hidden chests feel way less satisfying in both games.
Nioh 2 has way better enemy variety and makes you engage with the gameplay more, at least earlier on. It still never clicked for me quite right, but I still want to go back to it sometimes.
Hm, yeah, I know?
And obviously Nioh 2 in particular has something going on, or I wouldn't have 600 hours in it and be eyeing it in my Steam library, thinking about reinstalling it yet again, a game that's damn near tailor-made to be Not For Me while being adjacent to something that would be For Me.
My understanding was that Wo Long and Stranger of Paradise both make the loot situation substantially less involved than Nioh?
Huh, weird! I was going on Pat from CSB hating Nioh loot so much he could barely play it but seeming to have enjoyed Stranger of Paradise, but I haven't played it myself yet to know.
I wonder what made the difference for him.
I had actually started to doubt that last bit, since I couldn't find a video without the armor, but here it is.
