Been playing a deck that bounces Yondu/Cable and then plays Zemo which leads to the opponent having an empty deck and stealing a high cost minion from the opponent. Its pretty great.

Yeah, opponents are just quitting from this deck. Super disruption and stealing straight from their deck. Its wonderful.

Mold/Widow keep stuff in their deck. Ham/Iceman disrupt. Cable/Yondu thin their deck. Zemo/Abs steal their stuff. Falcon/Beast lets it happen all over again. Werewolf benefits from all the On-Reveal in the deck.

edit: Wish I had pulled the trigger on Grandmaster. He'd be perfect in this.

Yep, first game against a Maximum Zemo deck and they got 1) Blade (discarding their Grandmaster), 2) Abs Man (grabbed Hope) 3) Abs Man2 (cloning vat) grabbed Cull Obsidian, so not bad.

Then we Mindscaped, and from me they got Ebony Maw (heh), Armor, and Giganto (when I wasn't fighting for the left loc).

Like, why not just Loki? It's fewer steps.

Loki doesn't deny your opponent their cards.

the tradeoff is that you are thinning their deck, removing a whole lot of the lowest cost cards - not saying its better or worse, but it isn't just all gravy doing targeted card removal.

This is the future. This is what we built. This is what we wanted. It must have been. Because we all had the fucking choice, didn't we? It is only our money that allows commercial culture to flower. If we didn't want to live like this, we could have changed it at any time, by not fucking paying for it.

So let's celebrate by all going out and buying the same burger. -transmet

No it's just a propane flaptop cast iron griddle is it replacing the BBQ? Yeah are they the same thing well no but this thing rules and was on sale

I've often wondered why the flatop is less common than the grill for your average backyard BBQ.

Americans like char-flavor and/or grill lines

My wife and I watched this right after the behind the scenes of the Drawfree episode. I wondered out loud if Sam really wasn't aware of what he was going to say given how he was giggling the whole time the artists were having fun with the studio.

Malkin clearly boarded nemec of the devils but the play continued then as the penguins entered the devils zone offside, and the refs watched the replay, and retroactively decided they actually should have called a penalty a few minutes ago?

But I don't think you can call a penalty on the refs when they break the rulebook

we made a roast pork belly for dinner we used the woks of life recipe for the cantonese pork belly that's a website they have a book too https://thewoksoflife.com/cantonese-roast-pork-belly/

it is kind of like eating bacon for dinner although different because pork belly is not cured like bacon i had to lay down afterwards it was intense

there is pork shoulder on sale for 99 cents per pound i am going to get some because that is a good price for meat i will probably buy 20 pounds and make char siu and pulled pork and you can use it for stir fries too i know they say low and slow is the only way to cook pork belly but you would be surprised it is good for stir fries too there is a lot of stuff that works for stir fry everything from eye of round beef to fatty cuts can work

here is a tip for your stir fry if you have trouble cuttign the meat you can put it in the freezer for a bit to firm it up and then cut it it makes it much easier especially if you want to do something like hot pot and want it really thin i hope that is a good tip i use it myself

If your bacon looks like that it can actually be salvaged: just need to turn the heat up a bit to break down the fat and collagen. However, there might be a good reason for not doing that, like not wanting to make grease and potentially lose those calories if you're not cooking anything else

That made me laugh pretty hard, but nah it'd probably be more like
if I or another guard even happened to be in the area (we don't
spend much time near the spent fuel pools, usually only passing by on our way elsewhere) I'd assume the person was an employee doing legitimate work (because only an employee with a badge with the correct access to that area could even get there). Until they jumped in, at which point I'd freak the fuck out like, "oh god what are you doing?" and I'd radio our dispatch to get in contact with the control room and let them handle it. Then I'd just stand there and yell at the person to get out until the people that actually make decisions get there and figure a way to pull them out. I wouldn't shoot because an unarmed person likely wouldn't be able to damage the fuel rods, so the only thing in any danger is the person in the pool (and only if they swam down close to the newer spent fuel, as mentioned in the video)

Also, fun fact: when spent fuel rods are first taken out of the reactor and put into the spent fuel pools, they emit a beautiful blue glow that is Cherenkov radiation. The glow dims pretty quickly and I've only been able to personally see it a few times. This isn't my pic, just one pulled from Reddit, but it's very pretty to look at
