One tip for new players is to try to avoid spamming your block, and instead go for long, rhythmic presses. This is because if you spam it, the timing window in which it is considered a deflect is reduced so it makes it way harder than it should be. Spacing it out helps you prevent this.
The first time I played the game, I kinda bounced off because I was just coming off from a Soulsborne and I wanted it to play similar to them. I played it again about a month or two later and now it's my favorite From game, and I guess it's my favorite action game as well. The combat is just so good.
Complete with bullshit ghosts!
Also, some enemies require you to attack them so that you force them to block, such as Genichiro. In one playthrough I had no issues fighting him, but then another time I went against him and all I did was block/deflect, and it became way more difficult. I then remembered I have to be just as aggressive as he is.
The game is very forgiving with attack/block canceling compared to souls games.
I'm still excited for Arlecchino, but it still appears that I'm going to need some luck to get her. I'll easily hit a 50/50, but I don't think I could make it to pity a second time. Unless there's way more resources to scrounge up in the new stuff than usual.
found the answer, i knew i read it on their discord somewhere:
So let's celebrate by all going out and buying the same burger. -transmet
I really don't WANT to just slide in Revenant as my choice-pick this week, because as far as I'm concerned he's adjacent to cheating, but this week's final mission is so brutally obnoxious that I'm considering it.

What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable? ~ Mario Novak
I never fear death or dyin', I only fear never trying.
Of course the run I did it it turns out I didn't need to cheat because we had a Dante giving overguard and a Hildbro giving 80 energy/s with voracious metastasis, and a zephyr grouping mobs.

Kullervo gives me a reason to use heavy weapo attacks and more reasons to use gladiator mods
Current fun times are using zariman tontas to pop incarnon mode and go slashy slashy
I lean towards the coaching staff letting him play. So I'd say yeah, he gets there
My understanding is while they do sell, they sell for a lot less than an unbuilt kit. Also, of course, a kit that's been properly cleaned up/painted/etc. might sell more if it looks good enough.
Hehe, doo doo.
Not a bad situation all around.
I had some spare taus laying around so I made some tau greens to test on the rogue necramechs.
They do reach 14 corrosive stacks. However, despite this, they don't actually seem to lose any armor. So I guess they just are completely immune to armor reductions.
On a lark I tested Shattering Impact as well and that also doesn't work.
I hate these fuckers I want them to die faster. Especially the corrupted variants, lol.

yeah rogue necramechs are the worst lol
I feel like the only thing I have that really works on them is basically freezing them with sevagoth's helminthable aura thing so it becomes easy to nail their back hole and spamming excal sword lasers with the augment mod into it for some reason, I'm not sure why they feel like they work better than regular guns but they do to me
The only reason to own Sevagoth in Deep archemedea is his gloom aura. Which you'll have anyway.
