not in that scene; whether an error or just not trying to draw attention yet, Miorine lacks it in that shot in the broadcast version

Now its there and practically the focus of the frame given the way your eyes will be drawn down by her posture, arm orientation, etc.

    Anime Undead Unluck ep 11:

And here we, if I remember correctly, see the literally last time of male protagonist being pervy ever again in the story.

It will only get better from now on.

Shame that I am kinda not feeling voice actress for Fuuko, but maybe she will grow on me after Fuuko gets her character development.

Pluto is unreal I'd watch unless you've read it then it can wait

It's my fave anime that I've watched this year by far

I decided to go with Blue Eye Samurai, if only because of I'd just spent 74 episodes drenched in atmospheric psychological nightmare and I needed something steeped in style and catharsis for a change up.

But soon I'll be ready for Pluto and some high quality Sad Robots

Apparently the witch from mercury blu ray box also explicitly says (ending spoilers)
    they're married,
in the physical pamphlet as well as in a director interview on the disks, so I guess the bandai/sunrise suits lost that battle

it feels like to me that WfM really needed three cours for the to fully flesh out everything going on

I really wish that WfM had stuck with the setting and mood from season one and stuck to the school level drama rather than going full Gundam with the second season. I liked the overall happy ending, but it felt really unearned given the death, carnage, and suffering that lead into it. If they wanted to get into all of the various factions and politics then they should have gone with a normal 4 cour show.

It really feels like they had planned on more episodes, and got the news sometime at about the halfway point of cour 2 that they weren't getting any more, and had to speed run the plot.

Officially, Gundam WfM was always planned to be 2 cours.

That said, it does seem that the writers/directors/creative staff wanted to do a longer series with more cours, and that they wrote the first season believing once WfM became a breakout hit that they could talk the suits into extending the series into another cour or two, but got shut down early into the 2nd cour and had to change plans that lead to a rougher less than perfect ending(and possibly the production issues WfM had in the 2nd cour).

You joke, but Seed had to make do with stock animations for like 80% of each battle. WFM actually had unique animation for each situation. If the Seed movie actually animates new battle stuff for every sequence that will be a severe shock to the system for how that whole production went (I am both joking and serious).

Supposedly this is why they’re going CG mecha for the movie.

Meanwhile, obligatory (size, and I guess spoilers but it’s fucking Seed):

SEED had the luck of coming out in the early 2000s when a lot of people were getting into anime and being their first Gundam. Also lots of pretty boys for the fujioshis to ship.

Wing was on early toonami and the first Gundam on North American TV, around 2000 or so

Seed was on Toonami as it was getting fucked around and moved to Saturday nights before the CN/AS nightly hand off, and they edited any human-held gun into the infamous “Disco Guns”

It was absolutely my first Gundam. As nonsense as a lot of it ended up being - I remember meming on forums about No-Kill-kira and his ship cutting meteor system - it still has a lot of moments that'll stick with you, especially if it's your first ever Gundam.

The Strikes first ever launch, Kira activating seed mode, the Freedom saving the archangel - and the horror of that whole situation (for a clean and pure world, let's immolate one of our own bases!), the Freedom and Justice teaming up, etc

So I've got a soft spot for it even as I'll happily agree it's terrible nonsense a lot of the time, and 00s, IBO, ReRise and WfM are all much better series in the modern canon

The funniest thing about Cross Ange isn't the gratuitous rape torture scene in the first episode or the like, it's the time where:
One of the characters gets 'tragically' run over by a speeding AMC and thrown off a cliff. Then shows up completely unharmed in the next episode.
    "But how did you survive!?"
"I had my frying pan in my dress!"

It’s also a series where Fukuda’s weird preoccupation with, I honestly don’t know what else to call it at this degree but, cucking turns into an element by which the villain is defeated

And now he seems to be doing it again in Seed Freedom!

And all this before you get into the way Seed/Destiny reveals just how bad and confused Fukuda’s politics are

“Shinn! How dare you single-handedly intervene in and liberate a slave labor camp and receive gratitude for for liberating a slave labor camp! Don’t you realize how destabilizing to world peace that is, freeing a slave labor camp run by the world government?!”

“Oh no! The public has learned about the secret club of wealthy arms manufacturers that controls the earth government behind the scenes! Oh no, now they’re murdering them in public! This is just like when the Naturals murdered coordinators, a minority group of genetically engineered savants, in terrorist pogroms we didn’t quite think through the metaphor of at the time we made this first series! But it’s just as bad because murder! See, we’re even demonstrating this by literally recreating the compositions for this montage of murdering evil, world manipulating arms merchants who’ve plunged the world into two major wars with this montage of the terror attacks from season one! See! The same evil!”
