I'd imagine had it had better time to lay things out and shortened the whole bit by an arc it would've been an All-Timer. But I'm fine with what it was.
I liked when he punched nerds
I still believe the easier explanation - she's always had it in her - but it's kinda neat if the mangaka intended that juxtaposition
I'm like 10 chapters in and because of who's it influenced im assuming that all goes to shit soon and then I'm left going

And not to toot my own horn but if I'm interested it's gonna be fucking wild
Q Hayashida's current/ongoing series Dai Dark is also good too.
The shows chosen?
-- Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
-- Deca-Dence
-- Sakura Wars: The Animation
And surprising none of the regulars of AniMenagerie, every single one of them just wasn't my bag.
But I will compliment Deca-Dence for just fuckin' going for it. That's a show that, every 3 minutes, following the 1st episode, I just kept saying some variety of this:
Very sad the director died in that Kyoto Animation arson a few years back
God what a fucking awful thing that was.
"Say, when do you think a person dies?"
Fuuuuuuuuck still can't get through that episode with dry eyes.

It took a lot of searching to find that specific progression of three shows. Starting with a mecha series spinoff where they flat out say the mecha will not be appearing. Then a show with a bizarre robot related twist that is still not a mecha show. Ending with one where the mechs show up almost instantly...but are barely taller than a person. And also the show is way more interested in introducing girls and having a theater performance.
You have chosen a path I cannot follow.
Dorohedoro was written in a way I'm still 80% certain even the author couldn't predict what direction it was going to go next at any given time.
The girl is still salvageable in terms of personality and corruption from the society of this world, but the guy is a lost cause considering his Eye of Mystic Roofie and how he sees the the world along with everyone in it.

(edit: just to be extra-safe, that's a spoiler for Ashita No Joe, in case anyone hasn't read it)
Hell yeah we do! There are, so far, 14 published volumes of the light novel. (FYI, the first 12 eps of the anime covered volume 1.) The English versions of volumes 1 to 9 can be found on J-Novel Club, Amazon, Nook, Kobo, iBooks and Bookwalker. J-Novel Club are also translating them in a linear fashion: they publish a part of the volume they're currently translating every Friday. Volume 10 was finished 2 weeks ago and will be released on the 18th of this month, and now they're on part 2 of volume 11.
If you prefer to consume Maomao's Paper-White Delight in a more processed form, you're in luck! There's 2 manga adaptations: a bland one that no one feels like fanlating, and one that's illustrated by Nekokurage and from which the anime draws its visual design. It's on Square-Enix's Manga Up app. It's got all 68 currently published chapters, with a new chapter releasing monthly. That manga also has a fanlation on mangadex, but it stopped near the end of chapter 67. You can also google "apothecary diaries manga latest chapter" if you want to not deal with Squeenix's coin shop. So far, there's been 20 manga chapters for every volume of the LN.
Finally, the latest episode adapted chapters 23 and 24 of the manga, and the latest chapter adapted chapter 5 of volume 4 of the LN.
OK, that should be all. Don't stay up too late!
It's pretty good.
To be clear, it is about people in the real world that play MtG. Unlike the American MtG comics, which is about the world of MtG.
but if you stay up too late you'll fail your court lady exam!
I just hope they don't do...
I hate when manga do that.
Oh, I read a chunk of that, it's a fun little romance between two gigantic MtG nerds, cute stuff.
Stopped getting updated by the scanlator I was following, sadly. I should check if someone else has picked it up, because I do not believe this thing is getting any kind of official release.
