They make a point that a lot of the royal families are huge with tons of branches ordinarily.
As for your spoiler:
For a much later spoiler along the same lines that I had been waiting a long time for…

Delicious in Dungeon and Frieren are demonstrating that you can have amazing, well crafted fantasy works that Aren't Fucking Isekai.
This arc is the best arc and the low key antique hunting is soooo freaking fun. It's stuff like that, that makes the world feel so alive.
Huge manga bundle from Kodansha. Highlights include Witch Hat Atelier, Shangri-La Frontier, Vinland Saga and The Drops of God
Seems like excellent value for money, especially as Kodansha's app is some gathcha bullshit that's not accessible outside the US

Wonder if we'll see actual anime films hit the Criterion label. Far as I know, they have only a handful of animated films, namely Watership Down.
Additional bit:
Also man, they really know how to build the tone and emotion for this. You could really feel the sense of camaraderie in the bar, the German commander’s continued trepidation in trusting Bravern, and then the absolute horror as the drone footage of the sea of flames Tokyo has been engulfed in reached the base.
A lot of set up this episode, all of it so so well done.
Evidence for your theory grows:
(Smith's fight with lulu and Braven's fight with Superia use exactly the same choreography)

Yeah this is in it!
Oooh I never picked up on that aspect, interesting.
I *think* so? I'd have to go back and watch.

I love Otaku no Video. But I'm not sure anyone I've ever shown it too has 'gotten it' really. It's even before my time.
I respect it, but it's hard for me to watch. I don't really like how the third act goes, it's always hard to watch someone
One of the Media Club+ shorthands in describing the show is how characters (usually Kurapika) will stop the episode to give a quick power point presentation about something they're talking about, and this arc has turned that up 1000 percent, and I really couldn't be more delighted every time it happens. Before or after every ass beating, there is a power point presentation about why the ass beating is happening, how it is happening, and who the ass beating will be dealt out to (generally this is the in-episode audience for the presentation). Basically every character does it except for Gon, because he is too beautiful and simple to handle a power point deck.
You would think it would get old, but it really does not. Every time kurapika is like hi my name is kurapika, welcome to my Ted Talk about beating your ass, I am clapping like a seal. yes kurapika, yes, walk me through it, teach me the intricacies of nen.

so good
If for some reason anyone still thought "think of the children" meant anything.
Think of how affordable child labor is.
And their hands can get into all the places our adult hands can't!
