Oh no, I'm already like 10 episodes in on the sub and didn't realise this. That's perfect casting!
Oh yeah, during that arc:
Also later, during the Ice Heart meltdown, when the Queen and Javier are looking for Lloyd, and he comes into frame fireman-carrying the two dudes he accidentally extorted money from. Just so impactful of a shot.
Nah, not a set panel layout short type, more like 19 page continuous story chapters. It's mostly "and then the deer does some nonsense, don't worry about it", though.
Yeah, Laios' VA is pretty good too
Here it is.
(It was in the tumblr post where I found the screenshot.)
Fuck I need that shirt.

Huh, I never really thought about Damien actually being a voice actor, I only know him from Smosh
Laios is his first role, I believe (and he's genuinely nailing it.)
Dang, that's a lot of money. Especially for a manga artist.
Given how frequently this stuff happens (and the amount of money involved here makes it pretty clear that is several years of accumulated missed taxes), I am getting a definite feeling that chances are manga studios may be hiring people in some unusual manner to save their own money somehow and this results in people fucking up their tax filing. Or something of that stripe. One is malfeasance, two is coincidence, but we're on what, a dozen? At this point either manga artists as a collective just love themselves some tax evasion far more than the average human, or something weird is going on with the tax situation, feels like.
