It is one of those "Protagonist doesn't realize how strong he actually is compared to regular people" shows though, because his only barometer are the party who trained him full of people like the strongest mage, the strongest fighter, the strongest archer, etc and even after the training he's nowhere near their level.
is this by the same studio that did Super Crooks?
No. Studio Wit is doing Suicide Squad Isekai, Super Crooks was BONES

It's like they saw the Peacemaker OP and said "we can beat that".
My main issue with series being that nothing in it ever managed to be on the same level as All Might vs. Nomu and Deku vs. Todoroki in terms is hype afterwards.
First three episodes thoughts.
It does that thing repeatedly where it does the isekai cliche, but seems worried that people won't realize it, so has the characters, mainly Clayface, explain the cliche, so all of the rest can go "that sounds stupid." And the pacing is pretty awful because it keeps explaining and then re-explaining both the Suicide Squad and the isekai premise, which I feel would annoy both sides. I swear every single episode has had at least a minute spent just on re-explaining the standard Suicide Squad thing that they have bombs implanted in them. Or conversations like:
Clayface: "Haven't you felt more magical since you got here?"
Random: "Magical? What do you mean magical?"
CF: "Like I had powers before, but now I have the same powers but more magical."
Random: "More magical? What do you mean more magical?"
CF: "Well, before, I could do this. But now I can do this."
Random: *has flashback to when they did similar*
Random: "Oh, so this magical world must be having magical effects."
CF: "Yes, that is one of the many cliches of isekais. We all have magically enhanced magic powers now."
And then, two minutes later, they run into a guy and are like "What the fuck!? I thought your power was controlling rats. How can you control other animals now too!?" We literally just had an entire scene explaining specifically this, my guy. I want to throttle whoever wrote this script.
Compared to Harley Quinn or really good DCAU Suicide Squad stuff (eg 2014 Assault on Arkham, 2018 Hell To Pay), it's definitely a step below. Like, fuck, three episodes is nearly the entire runtime of Assault on Arkham, and this has barely even gotten out of the gates.
i was watching a random yutapon cubes compilation that was in my youtube feed and was like 'oh yeah huh, i did stop watching in season 4 right before the overhaul fight, maybe it's time i finally pick it back up'
it's kinda nostalgic at this point though i am still praying for the purple pervert's downfall every time he appears on screen

Laois is from fantasy Europe, and while his family's rich he's slumming it with common people in a gold rush town. If someone treating you the way he treats Shuro, telling them to fuck off is relatively socially acceptable. Hell, it's arguably even socially expected.
Shuro - or, well, Toshiro Nakamoto - is a nobleman from fantasy Japan. For him it's all about the subtle social cues, and you're never direct if you can help it. (Think of how Natsume Sōseki decided to translate "I love you" as "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?")
Also my favourite part about that phrase is that the indirect way to turn another person down after they have said that indirect I love you is "Yes, but you can't touch it." This is apparently way more respectful in the japanese due to the grammar used but the English translation is brutal!
Look Back is out in theaters in Japan today. Barely an hour, it tells its story, and that's it, with no padding for time. It appears to be a marvel, capturing Fujimoto's cinematic style and paneling.
It's screening with subtitles in New York City at a small Japanese film festival in two weeks. If it's subbed already, there's hope for a wider release.
Trailer song. Unsure if this is a fan recutting the trailer song, or the actual full track from the OST, but it's beautiful.

E: Nevermind, this was the one I was looking for: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/look-back/anime-film/.211767
E2: I hate the AI-powered, enshittified internet. It was so hard tracking down the series of webpages that led me to that. I had to find this site, https://m.imdb.com/news/ni64636204/?ref_=tt_nwr_1, which was a preview of an article, that had a link to the above article. The internet is incestuous, recycled content largely devoid of substance and humanity.
Up until then he wasn’t really a pervert, so much as he was just a simp. He would swoon over pretty ladies and try to impress them, but was generally respectful.
Then suddenly Thriller Bark happens and he goes from Johnny Bravo to Duke Nukem.
wut
She pretty much had the same arc as a Dandadan reader:
- (start) This is a little pervy
- Holy shit
- The art and paneling's pretty nice
- (Acro-silky) Damn that was dark, but that stretch of pages with no dialogue was insane
- Aira's a bit of a dumbass, isn't she
- Holy shit he's singing ABBA!
- This manga's so ridiculous but it makes it work, what the hell
Also, I only now just grokked Crab gig worker's second form cultural reference.
So, he says "Can you fight for 24 hours, business man?". That's the lyrics of this energy drink ad:
It's basically him, upon receiving a boost, starts singing a jingle as his own friggin' personal soundtrack.
