Uh yes absolutely
Or just dive head first into Victory Gundam.
This old geezer just appeared out of no where and started kicking the heck out of robots and tearing them up*
Only found out much later in life who that old man was
*He's not piloting anything
This will be here until I receive an apology or Weedlordvegeta get any consequences for being a bully
Zeta drags too.
i'd say give zeta a try and if its too much, switch to the movies

Yeah I am watching Turn A right now and you can't really fully appreciate what it's doing unless you've watch a few other Gundam shows first to be able to compare and contrast what they're doing differently.

I still love the part in Gurren Lagann
Lots of great Anya reaction panels this chapter, but I guess that's true of most chapters.
ahahahaha yessss
Gotta disagree. I watched the three movies first and hated them. They're all over the place, paced poorly, confusing, and unexciting. Then Toonami did the actual TV series and it became easily one of my favorite Gundam shows. For the unsurprising reason that cutting 50 episodes of a good show into like 6 hours of movies or less leaves a TON on the editing room floor.
Huh, weird, this is how I felt about the Zeta movies but I really just couldn't hold attention with the TV cut of 0079
Anime is weird
Zeta has a better budget behind it and is worth watching in full
Alternatively, Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin the manga is being uploaded one chapter at a time for free (legally) and is a incredible retelling on the original gundam
I got started by reading what exists of that then switching over to the movie versions of 78
Actual serious Iron Blooded Orphan spoilers.

Also, Gundam the Origin the anime is NOT the same thing and I would not recommend watching that until after the original Mobile Suit Gundam.
Steam
The thing about Gundam the Origin is, if you only watched the movie trilogy, you wouldn't know who the fuck a good third of the characters were because they aren't in the movies.

Gundam F91 gives you all the standard plot points of a Gundam story condensed into a 2 hour movie. It is not the best Gundam story and has a very fast pace but it makes a good primer for what to expect in most Gundam stories.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket is a short 6 episode long OVA set near the end of the original Gundam show focusing on a civilian point of view. It is not a very good example of what to expect from a typical Gundam but it has a real good delivery of Gundam's anti-war message and seeing it without knowing much about the politics and events in Mobile Suit Gundam makes the main character more relatable.
My answers would probably change based on my mood and I'll probably forget some, but I think right now I'd go with:
Sadly only about half of that list has been licensed, but hopefully some of the others will start getting officially brought over soon so I can add them to my collection.
You read a lot of excellent romantic comedies!
Try the Cuckoo's Fiance, by the same author of Yamada and the 7 witches, as well as Flunk punk rumble.
Separate from that, I read most of what's going on in Jump, save Sports stuff.
Yeah, but most of these episodes are ‘man we need to write a snopes article!’ and, Jesus, just write the damn article already.

the first one that comes to mind is Delicious in Dungeon AKA Dungeon Meshi
also keeping up with Watamote
- A Returner's Magic Should Be Special
- Tower of God
- Solo Leveling
- Level 999 Villager
- The Misfortunes of Local Knight Hans
- Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I'm a Reincarnator
- The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic
- Exterminator
- Goblin Is Very Strong
- The Other World Doesn't Stand a Chance Against Instant Death
That's a lot of Korean comics now that I'm looking at it. Also isekai but I already knew that one, and it's mostly isekai that go in an interesting direction. Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic for example is about someone who can only use healing magic and are then taught how to use it in a way to heal all injuries to enable them to push themselves beyond physical limits. Also punching people while healing them, leaving no injuries but the full pain of a super strength hit.
