Skipping the first two episodes because they are bad, the rest is pretty much a perfect show to me. The pacing is snappy when it's telling a story but it also has no issues just meandering for several episodes about a homeless dude suplexing someone.
Then it dumps a serious arc on you with an incredible series is fight scenes and a really great emotional pay off.
Then goes right back to ball jokes next episode.
The real meta season ending episodes are really great too. One they explain why they take breaks in seasons instead of using filler, or another it's a character poll episode.
Also the conveyor belt scene will never not be funny to me.
i love this stupid song, it appears on a couple of my playlists at work
but yeah ive legitimately thought of the best ways to catch up on one piece because i have friends that are interested because I enjoy it and i couldn't come up with anything that still didnt sound intimidating to them
The best way to catch up to One Piece is to have a library system that owns the entire manga series, and then have someone who wants to read it. That's the only way I managed to do it.
The first two episodes being bad would explain why people keep talking about Gintama like it's good, while I watch the first two episodes and go "I guess it's not For Me"
they do but they also don't really expect people to remember that stuff when they bring it back up
has that happened in the anime yet? I don't remember that.
- Nami asking for help
- "A man only dies when he is forgotten"
- Usopp vs Luffy
- "I want to live!"
- Going Merry at the end of Enies Lobby
- The revelation at the Mink Tribe when Kin'emon arrived
One Piece moments that made me go FUCK YEAH:
- "You asked me if I can throw a punch"
- THAT Celestial Dragon scene
- The revelation at the Mink Tribe when Kin'emon arrived
yeah looking back i think that might be one of my favorite scenes
Bolt.
Son of Nalt.
That through to Marineford is probably the strongest stretch it's ever had and was hype as hell for several years.

after he beats katakuri
the papers declare him the fifth yonko and violet and shanks and colby all get stoked
Never
I don't think I have ever cried more watching a TV series than the Going Merry scene at the end of Enies Lobby.
Mother's Basement did a good overview:
Kind of like how Umineko fans refer to it as Seacats. Actually, I guess that's not the same...
So that's what she's going to do, and she's committed to it.
It's also a gamebreaker in a social game, which is what they're in. That said, the lead basically has a modernized version of Unlimited Blade Works for his Sigil, which us just as gamebreaking.
You'll never yanko his yonko away

Ugh, I am apprehensive. Just go on break like MHA does for half the year.
Even if it's canon, nothing can advance the story or character arcs. It'll be every character saying their stock phrases and nothing else.
*yoink-o*
Half of season 2 in the Fall, side story in Winter, rest of season 2 in Spring.
That's a lot of Slime!
Trailer 3 is now available!
TV anime ""APPARE-RANMAN!"" is start broadcasting from April 2020 in Japan.
Don't miss it!
I don't know what this is but from the trailer it seems to be about a bunch of people from various continents going to 19th century America to engage in some wacky races or something

I'll wait for Steel Ball Run thank you very much
But I was kind of rolling my eyes that the whole "yandere who is obsessed with the protagionist after their first meeting" deal.
I already read/watched Mirai Nikki.
Maybe they mean [ GOUGI ]
