Next week's Jump is postponed for sure.
This was the equivalent of going to see Persona 3 in a theater because you didn't get a copy of the game. The original game is great, and that's it.
Going by the manga, very early in the next episode will take that up a notch...
(Spoils a likely reveal for that episode)
oh and
Its just panty shots and creepy sexual shit the show
...Lovely.
Well, thanks for letting me know so now i can avoid the fuck out of it.
Meanwhile, Youtube really, really wants me to watch Tower of God. Given it keeps jamming an ad for it down my throat constantly.
I'll think about it YT! Chill!

Definitely better than the first one, secondary characters are introduced, and visuals and music are still pretty good.
Although I am still afraid that they will try to cram entire first arc of the story in just 13 episodes...
I think that was on 2005...20 years might have been a bit optimistic.
they got off the boat!
they still need to return by boat
Berserk's one of the few manga series (or just comics in general) that really feels rewarding when I occasionally go back and reread it
Like I think the two-parter of Serpico's backstory might be one of the best short comics stories ever written?
The first arc feels very much like something grimdark getting written by a college guy, though with little tidbits that show his promise.
But like when Miura was going through the Golden Age, Inquisition, and Lost Children stories, holy shit, what a run.
That ending was one heck of a ride, boy howdy. And I really appreciate that everything got finished off, there weren't dangling loose ends, and it seems like that was the way it'd been planned for an awfully long time.
My favorite panel doesn't have a lot of art, but it does an awful lot of work even so, because of how many things all suddenly came together:
The panel structure in general was fantastic, he is very good at repeating things in ingenious ways; chapters 80 and 81, for example, covering a similar sequence of events but with very different people doing them, but still with some common layout:
(that said, I could have done without most of the plotlines involving Shimada, there were Some Problems with them, yikes)
BURNING UP THE SORROW
THERE'S NO END TO SADNESS
WE DIDN'T LEARN:whistle:
Is this a movie I should see? I watched a clip of the opening sequence and the animation was pretty nuts. Apparently the project nearly bankrupted them?
Also, speaking of AMVs with crazy animation, the same dj made this (film: The Garden of Words):
This movie's description didn't sound like something I'd be interested in, but holy crap that is gorgeous.
That is a terrible description of Garden of Words. It's about two people who haven't decided what they want to do with their lives, and their paths intersect in a quiet garden.
It's a gorgeous film, and my favorite Makoto Shinkai work. Blows Your Name and Weathering With You out of the water.
The visuals are pretty dazzling, though.
You should really watch it, it's on Netflix and super short(like, 45 mins).
The dub, seriously.
it's essentially one weird dude's take on Wacky Racers and it has better animation and music than this idea really deserves, and that's why it works
just make sure you watch the sub, if you have the option, because the dub is intolerable
Huh, didn't realize it was that short. I'll give it a shot.
garden of words is also amazing
Hopefully they improve as episodes go on, because yeah this wouldn't really hook many people.
Headon stuff
I'm hoping it gets better as it goes on. Animation is decent but sometimes context is really important, especially for the opening hook!
It's a good series, though. It has a style that some people will definitely not enjoy, but Claire is fantastic as a character.
I was kind of curious about some of the changes they made in the anime. Nothing big so far but they shifted around some reveals and I don't even think they mentioned the person who gave Claire the coin. Though it would have already come up.
Nah, the dub is plenty good, in my experience.
Been a while since I’ve seen it, but I have seen it about 3 times.
The problem is that "May/December romance for foot fetishists" is a plausible premise for an anime!
I'm "kupiyupaekio" on Discord.
Counter opinion: the short description is factually accurate and both of the two movies you listed are substantially more entertaining to a wide audience (that includes me).
Sounds like maybe having the dog is the cheat ability?
