    My Love Stoy!

Also Kaguya Sama Love Is War.
    Probably.
I haven't seen anything beyond the first season of the anime, but they haven't really introduced competing love interests so far.

Nodame Cantabile is pretty clear from the very beginning. There is no harem aspect to it, more just their clashing personalities and lifestyles.

Baby Steps and Cross Game would qualify too.

I hadn't ever heard of Nodame Cantabile, looked it up, thought oh that looks up my alley, and apparently it's not streaming anywhere. Can't even buy it from anywhere I can find. Annoying.

Nodame Cantabile is excellent. A forumer recommended it to me a good while back and I enjoyed it. It is unusual that there are no legal streams for it since it is quite popular.

Funimation is apparently streaming the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai movie this weekend only. Def gonna have to watch that.

This is great news! Is there a specific time they're starting that? And I presume you mean through their subscription service/app (which I have) and not through some other method?

tsuki ga kirei is very cute. It's a middle school romance instead of the typical high school ones, so its drama all comes from just like, nobody having any idea wtf they're doing.
there's a very weird, but thankfully extremely minor, B-plot that thinks it's cute that their female teacher is crushing on one of her middle school students? It's never any kind of actual progression or anything, or suggestion that something might, she just thinks he's cute and we think she's creepy.

Though also the boy she thinks is cute is eeextremely gay coded and wonderful

I am catching up with OreGairu which is why I wanted my next romance anime to have a clear couple from the start. I really like Yui but I very much doubt she will end up dating Hachiman.

Think OreGairu might be the anime with my favourite sibling dynamic. The sister is pretty great.

That’s a question that at once strikes me as obvious to ask and hard to answer.

The real answer is that it depends on the story; chapters get divided not by a strict page count, but by ideas. A chapter ends when it’s dramatic, when it works to divide scenes, when there’s a perspective shift, or sometimes just to mess with a reader’s flow.

Just don't do the thing where chapters 1-3 are 20 pages long or so and chapter 4 is 130 pages. That's annoying, don't do that.

I admittedly liked it more when it was all non-human-looking robots at first, but I still thought it was pretty good through what's up on the site, chapter 26 or so I think. The author starts to indulge in gratuitous robo-tits and robo-ass later though, which I think it would be overall more solid without. Was initially hoping it would be more philosophical and less shonen action, but at least it's pretty well-crafted action by shonen standards.

Sounds like it's staying true to the heart of what Nier Automata was all about then: Yoko Taro's unabashed tastes.

Depends on the magazine you get serialized with. 20 sounds about right for your weekly Jump series but a monthly magazine would probably be around 40 or 50, and a 4-koma comedy series can be only 9 or 10 pages although you will probably doing 2 sets per page in that case.

*push up glasses* Technically those are shock absorbers, not robo-tits mate. Overall I think I still really enjoy most of the stuff I've seen, although I must admit the main hook for me is the art style and world building. The character interactions are pretty fun too and I like the way how the author give backstories to the robots

Watamote 176! So that was pretty gay!
    - Asuka and Tomoko go hang out on the beach in the morning. Thank you Tomoko for not fucking things up and sleeping through it.
    - Asuka is p nervous and trying hard to say cool interesting things. Their dynamic is very much two kids with crushes who are therefore just like inarticulately nervous around each other.
    - Fuuka, Yuu, and Miho are all watching them off from a distance. Nobody's like outright saying it but it sure feels like they're picking up on the vibe. Yuu looks thrilled!
    - The girls advice to asuka last night was that Asuka's too distant and it's hard to relax around her. So she should act more like Fuuka, who's just a trash person that no one feels nervous about impressing. Fuuka: I'M LITERALLY RIGHT HERE
    - Asuka tries to be trash and goes in to return a little sexual harassment on Tomoko. She mostly fucks it up though and Tomoko whacks her head into Asuka's nose. That was a bad idea and probably the best possible outcome.
    - Although also there's the pretty obvious visual gag of Asuka touching Tomoko and immediately getting a Horny Anime Nosebleed.
    - and ends with Asuka lying on the ground recovering resting on Tomoko's thighs. Tomoko's glad she's not a boy right now (because she would have a really awkward boner)
    - Asuka gets Tomoko to switch to first name basis, without even an honorific
    - Eventually the other girls show up and they all act like idiots on the beach for a while

So Tomoko and Asuka continue to make awkward progress despite themselves, and more of their friends seem to be picking up on the vibe. Tomoko's still in an awkward place where like, she acknowledges that Asuka is super attractive, but when it comes to her own feelings she still doesn't really acknowledge them, instead she divorces herself from them, "If I was a boy I'd sure be turned on right now" even though, obviously she's definitely turned on and not a boy. Like for most romantic manga writing if the main character is being dense it's just to draw things out and annoys me. Tomoko is definitely being dense but it's because of a pretty core aspect of her personality that's been established long before she even knew Asuka. I'm curious how much she's gonna overcome it before she heads off to college.

Holy shit! There is an anime adaptation of The Wizard of Oz:

I'm going to watch it when I go home. Sad though as the title is a straight translation. I thought it'd be more like, "Help, I'm trapped in another world where a wicked witch is trying to steal my new slippers, but I've been wearing my means of escape this whole time!?
