This version only lasted about 7 episodes before getting canceled.
At least the series got a full english dub (which wasn't bad, btw) and aired fully on YTV, Canada's youth television channel.
To say that Escaflowne was formative for young Elaro is an understatement.
That's quite the image to use for the last panel of your penultimate chapter. It was so subtle I came close to skimming over it.

Folks, this anime is something Fraiser & Niles Crane would reference.
Demon Slayer:
Well, due to its rarity, I'm just following a youtube playlist of episodes.
But the first three videos are 56 to 90 minutes in length?
...it might be a bad idea to binge.

you should probably skip that third video for now, it's a movie that was made after the main OVA series had started, by a completely different studio
the second video is a movie that re-covers events in the first episodes of the OVA, but it's still worth watching both it and the beginning of the show

I just remember someone on a podcast watching the show and mentioning there were movies that came before the main series. I think this is the site they used, or they're also on VRV it seems. You might want to check or ask someone that knows if you should watch the movies first or not, but a glance at the first one's description definitely makes it sound like a prequel.
This is the show I'd always joke with my friend that we should sit down and watch, due to age/quality/length.
thanks for reminding me that a) I need to finish it and that b) I need to remember that Gaiden exists and watch that too
So what you’re saying is you used some kind of... machine based on... fate... to... potentially alter what you were going to watch. And it gave you Escaflowne
She's the same age
She's just been dealing with kaguya's shit for a long time
What I think will happen:
If Seto ever gets the confidence to actually try asking Anjou-san out, I'm like 90% certain her response is going to be "What are you talking about? We've already been dating for six months!"
Though knowing Seto, they'll have children together before he ever realizes anything.
Looks kinda amazing
I guess this is about a girl and her friends riding Honda Super Cubs?
This will be here until I receive an apology or Weedlordvegeta get any consequences for being a bully
I doesn't seem that hidive has a PS4 app, but VRV does, so I'll look into it.
I did look to see if it was on DVD and...
Ahahaha...
$800 for a blu-ray set is a joke that belongs in the darkest corner of a museum.
People have wanted a home video release of it for decades and so naturally they do an $800 boxset limited to 1000 copies and no other official release.

Unless there's some weird dramatic reveal I'm extremely happy with the entire Demon Slayer comic. Sure Gotoge's linework isn't the most beautiful in the industry, but I loved every arc of the comic and it clipped along at a great pace. Actually, I was a little surprised when the final arc arrived. Overall though I think brevity is a lost art, in Shonen battle manga specifically, and Demon Slayer fully explored all the themes it wanted to in its run. I like it a lot. 10/10, will probably read again later this year.
fuck you pay me
They would make more money selling 5,000 copies of a barebones release for $150.
Because it would cost them less to manufacture the barebones release than manufacture all the fancy extras.

I believe you misunderstood

It's confirmed as ending this month, and you're right, there's definitely value in having one story arc, completing it, and then ending the story. Tacking on extra arcs to extend the series tends to lower the quality over time.
That said, I think what I put in spoilers will still happen.
as someone who has actually owned a (much rattier) early model '64 Super Cub, I am very curious about this
apparently it's based on a light novel so it's not just a Honda-sponsored short like I had thought at first glance
Wait isn’t that Gon’s aunt
