I still think everyone should read Look Back.

I was about to wonder how far the anime would cover, but then realized this is probably a fairly safe bet for a second season anyways.
Spy x Family was real good. They did a great job with animating and the performance of Anya which was pretty vital. And they’re definitely throwing some money to the animation.
I can’t speak to how fast they introduce Yor in the manga but considering how few chapters there are I’m fine with them taking their time.

No, that scene was not until chapter 2 or even 3.
Yeah, I went and checked. Chapter 1 was 70+ pages and was basically what's in the episode. The scene I mentioned was in Chapter 2 which was 50+ pages.
After those two chapters it seems to go down to it's regular page count.
Adding it to the sufficiently absurd, but cool premise (chinese strategist Zhuge Liang reincarnarnates in modern Japan), this is definitely a show I am going to check out.
I hope it sticks the landing of the b-boy vibe it has.
Yeah it takes a surprisingly long time to introduce Yor, considering how central she is to the conceit of the show.
But the dad's intro is mostly there for the world-building and setting up the fake family idea, and then Anya needs a while on her own to set up the emotional stakes. So it doesn't feel like a slow setup while you're in there, it's just surprising to remember later on.
Akibaranger has more plot than a parody show needs, and it's great.
Thunderbolt Fantasy split the party, and you never split the party!
This confused me at a bedrock level cos I didnt know that it isnt one despite living here. Its technically a continent.
And now I irrationally want to fight every geographer in the world because of course its an island dont be silly. Real storm of emotions here.
It's a string of islands floating in a sea of sand stuck in the middle of the ocean. Mhm. Layers to it.
well except that continents are more like political designations anyway since north and south america are one contiguous landmass and same for africa, europe and asia, barring man-made canals in a couple places
Cold War in East Berlin would be a perfect setting for a Western show.
This is how I've always felt about Fate/Zero, as long as they keep the characters' assorted nationalities.
Teaser trailer for the upcoming movie by Makoto Shinkai. Looking pretty as always.
AniList
Vigilantes has been better about keeping its heart centered during its big bombastic finale. Koichi's also just...a better version of Deku's idea right now.

Fuck Joe Manchin
It's still better, but it needs the original to exist to be better.
Almight and Deku and whatnot need to be out there, in the background.
Maybe this is on brand though because I hate the third act of virtually every superhero movie too

oh no it's drama and sad
also
Ah yes, Fate/Zero, the grounded anime where a motorcycle races a chariot.
(I'm so sorry it was right there.)
It could work but there's uh.....some THINGS that have to be changed.
Weirder things have been adapted(Cowboy Bebop), so it's doable.
The only real problem I can think of would be Ryunosuke's killings.
Also i like Koming's immediate attitude of "Talent is something you earn through hard work, not something you're born with".
