I think this still leans towards Maximum adaptation, because while the anime eventually did away with the wanted poster for reasons, I think that wasn't the case in the manga. The amount and title is also significant, since both were gained after the Lost July disaster so it has to be post that event at least.
One day portals open to dungeons around the world. A portion of the population awaken abilities to go fight it in the standard mage/assasin/tank line up. If the dungeon is now cleared in a week there is a dungeon break and the creatures start walking down the street of tokyo
Its a cool setting! It would be better if it followed anyone but the main character
Which is a shame, because I agree, some of my favourite parts of the manga deal with Legoshi learning to be an adult. Also, his grampa is the best.
Gotta say the dub was fantastic, and the second episode was priceless.
Gilles De Rais from Zero even reprised his role!
It's not much, but they do show that the FPA has women in political positions of power and advisor roles, which is way more than the empire allows.
Lost July is what raised the amount to $$60 billion Dead or Alive, that wanted poster is only $$6 million Alive
In fairness this is also the setting for about a hundred thousand different webnovels and manwha
I hope even with the redesign (which I like a lot), they keep the Maximum fight
Spoilers for a zillion years old manga. Wolfwood's beatdown of Razlo is probably one of the most the viscous manga fights I've ever seen, and that includes some Berserk scenes.
He sets off the machinegun ammo with his pistol, and then starts punching him, all while bleeding out.
Trigun also deals with issues of violence vs. non-violence in way that, for once, is actually treated with some depth and compassion for both sides of the argument.
I too am nostalgic for Code Geass.
If you would prefer YouTube:
I couldn't remember if it was 60 billion or 6 million. Though I'm also not sure what he'd have done to get that 6 million in the first place then, he certainly seemed integrated with the town in the flashback until Knives did his thing and it was all the subsequent destruction from bounty hunters chasing him that cemented his reputation as the Humanoid Typhoon.
Featuring the new hit anime romcom craze idea from fellow forumer PMAvers (he's referring to Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru's premise):
ETA: I posted that positively. I like this idea, and think it should be spread far and wide.
If I'm not mistaken, the only news of note(aside from crappy merch) is that the Robotech serieses are going to be on CR.
"The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion" anime was announced.
More otome isekai getting an anime. Although in this case it is a South Korean comic as the source material.

Hmm. What about actual original Macross?
e: wait, I forgot, it doesn't matter since crunchymation is dead to me because I'm not paying for premium and they got rid of their free tier
Super unlikely, but we can hope. I only subscribe because a friend uses it, I use his Shudder, etc.
I'm kind of losing interest though, it lined up nicely with AoT's final(ish) season and Spy X Family, but I'm really not feeling Gundam Wing or ZZ. Maybe I'll just keep it until I finish Nichijou.
Also, Netflix had Robotech for a while, and the dub/localization was surprisingly decent, from what I watched.
It'd be nice, but HG are too attached to Rick Hunter to let anyone think he has a different name.
(That and I imagine all the licensing for the Minmei songs is no easy feat)
How no game has come close to that level of mechanics and speed is beyond me. I mean, it's not perfect, but it is a hell of a game.
My bro found an adapter that lets you convert GC to HDMI. I need to look into that, as I have so many Gamecube games I need to play again.
I was thinking it would be another opportunity to go take a picture of my game collection, but eh. Too late at night and too niche for me to show off.
This manhwa was really solid. At 147 decent sized chapters they'll probably only make it up to 24ish chapters in a normal season tho. Which wouldn't even touch on the actual plot so I'm curious to see what they do with it.
It's massively influential in the US, too.
At least we got the newer stuff out of this deal. We already got the show released in an unedited form, all I'm waiting for is a theatrical of DYRL.
The Saturn game is really good too.
Streaming? No. DVDs? How much you got?
Robotech was also on Netflix a while back, I was watching it as background noise while working on homework. Did Amazon have that or actual Macross proper?
(And doesn't shy away from how problematically 90s it is, warts and all.)
They could have tried to make the hydra scary?
And also somehow even more ridiculously horny. A lot of pretenses just get dropped is what I'm saying
I'm pretty sure there's no pretenses from jump street, what with
Amazing how I never realized how problematic that premise was until now.
to be fair to the animators, like 99% of anime really phones it in on monsters, either shitty CGI or shitty drawings compared to the detailed illustrations in whatever manga. Which makes some sense because it takes forever to draw frames of complicated, non-human creatures because it's a very specialized illustration skill. Like drawing animals but worse, because it's even less broadly applicable.
I'm not sure how the anime will go, since most of the beginning of the manga is a slice of life about nightlife and such, and doesn't really get into the mysteries or vampire fights until quite a bit later.
Then again, I haven't seen the Tonikaku Kawaii anime. Was it all slice of life stuff without getting into...
