That was a short loop!
This series is really quite good and it's sad it's trapped in Disney+ jail.
I'm curious why the chapter numbering doesn't match Viz's though. Viz is 2 behind.
Might be something to do with the redraws of chapters that happen occasionally.
Damn
Okay now THIS is how I was expecting the fight to go and I'm happy it did.
I always liked that one because it didn't involve using his spoopy Mind Crush to punish the offending asshole of the week, just clever manipulation
Wow, someone really got the money to turn their Togadeku vampire AU fanfic into a whole-ass anime series.
Yeah, YGO was a different beast at the beginning. This for example was the first 'game'.
Then there's the first episode of the Duel Monsters series (which by the way was the second Yu-Gi-Oh series), the plot of which was a VERY compressed version of Yugi and Kaiba's first meeting. How it originally went was that Kaiba managed to steal Mr. Moto's Blue-Eyes White Dragon card and Yami and Kaiba had a tabletop duel in which the former used his magic to create the illusions of the monsters actually being there and later attacking Kaiba when Kaiba lost. Rather then phase him like other one-offs, Kaiba goes off the deep end and turns his new indoor theme-park into 'Death-T', forcing Yugi and his friends to go through several lethal rooms before they had the duel that was the center of Duel Monsters' first episode. And by 'lethal' I mean one room had them going up against hired hitmen in a laser-tag fight with vests that'd electrocute you if you got hit, another had a chained keep-away from a serial killer, a third was a 3d Tetris room with them trying to find a way out before the actual physical blocks falling down would kill them...
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
I mentioned this earlier but now that I actually looked up the title of the other series: so if you remember the series Dagashi Kashi, about a manic pixie dream girl appearing in a boy's life to tell him about how great different japanese snack foods are: this is by the same author, and it started out as a similar premise except it replaced japanese snack foods with "wandering around the city at 3 AM when the streets are mostly empty"
it eventually morphs into a shonen battle thing, many many chapters later, but it takes a while to get there
I don't know if he has the haircut for this oratory style.
Dagashi Kashi was ahead of the curve on the "wacky girl + reserved guy" romcom dynamic that's become popular in anime over the past couple years.
Only years? Feels more like decades.
With all the game references included.
If those two lower art-pieces are from Kazuki Takahashi too, they're pretty cool.

You can't post this and not include the title.
Yeah, OG Yu-Gi-Oh was fucking sick.
Steam: pazython
Ok so for actual H content we have Dragon Knight and F³ plus a few VHS tapes of shows that are more of ecchi warm-ups for the non anime watching crowd, like City Hunter and Those Who Hunt Elves
I think somebody might have made a whole episode about Abenomics or something.
The 2nd episode was supposedly about an assassination.
So, yeah, I guess I see why that one got scrapped
