Okay that's actually fucking hilarious though
it's ok they like being slaves so theres absolutely no ethical concerns
Oh, so it's like Pokémon.
Don’t forget Quatre!
No that’s Local H Jay, not Chico
Not quite that, but there is a manga called "A Story about a Cat Reincarnated in a Different World Where There are no Cats.". It dies because it got hit by a car, though not while saving someone, but otherwise:
The jokes are more cat-centric, too:
Brad Swaile (the VA in question) also voiced Setsuna in Gundam 00. Of course, his most notable role was outside of the franchise - he was the voice of Mr. Keikaku himself, Death Note's Light Yagami.
So this page of WfM character connections apparently confirms the Vanadis Incident 21 years ago IS the events of the prologue:
And if they're right WfM is poised to get real dark.

I’m not the most knowledgeable person about Japanese wrestling but I was surprised to find out that his finisher there, the blue destiny was an actual finisher for Kotaro Suzuki mainly of pro wrestling NOAH.

Its pretty shitty overall but I'll give them credit they really swung for the fences and it's more of a parody of the genre than I expected (still does the classic anime has its cake and furiously eats it too). This is not a recommendation, I watched it so you don't have to.
My guess’s are still, in no certain order regarding likelihood:
2) Clone of Eri after Eri’s consciousness was dumped into the Lfrith in an attempt to get her back (shades of ID-0?)
3) Second daughter (IFV possibly?) of Prospera after something happened that has left Eri’s consciousness inside the Lfrith/Aerial
1 seems the shakiest given how complicated it would have to be to somehow I guess dump Eri’s mind into the Gundam and leave absolutely no trace of her memories of Vanadis (since for example she has no recollection of Cardo Nabo, who seemed to treat Eri as a kind of granddaughter surrogate)
Course given shit like implying even the GUND Bits that make up Eschucheon having personality shit could be even wilder and more tragic.
Does CR do anything with any fanfare? The messaging in the app is extremely bad.
I mean I’d have figured there’d have at least been some kind of PR leading up to it, given the way other shows tend to
I come to CR on the day a new show comes out and have to HUNT for it. There's not a big "watch the new shows" button like Netflix or Disney + has. This goes along with the absence of a "would you like to watch the next episode of the show you were just watching" feature that puts the app like... a decade behind other, bigger services. Sony's iceberg slow movement of Funi content to CR and their baffling additions of new content (to the service they literally paid people to abandon) makes me wonder what their problem is, frankly. "Let's buy these two competing services and make an unbeatable mega-service out of the two of them... and then also, let's not do that last part."
Ever since they did that big revamp where the news is four scrolls down and it's mostly just big images splattered everywhere the site has lost a lot of the direction it once had.
And the problems are probably all legal stuff. Contracts can be hella specific and hard to work around.
I don't have netflix anymore nor any history with series (but I do like some of the anime OPs though) I am curious how they'd handle the larger/non human characters.

Based on casting they’re doing like every arc from the start to arlong park, in 10 episodes.

Their Luffy definitely has the energy, but no one had a problem with Bebop's cast either.
(Except for Vicious, good lord.)
Some have hope that Suletta is Eri, and she got put into suspended animation or something at some point to explain her age.
But I just saw one that makes me want to rewatch the series and see if it holds up:
What if Lady Prospera is Eri? (edit: though offhand I can already think of two characters that at least believe Prospera is Elnora)
I am actually very interested to see how they'll do Mihawk's first appearance in light of this
If anything have more rabid fans is probably a downside as they'll be ever more critical if they get it wrong
One Piece is essentially a Tex Avery cartoon.
