Doubt she knew it was manga or Japanese at all

One of the arcs escalated a Stand power to the level of "annihilate the known universe", resulting in a more or less complete reset of the continuity and a new universe plodding forward with leftover pieces of the old one.
I'm "kupiyupaekio" on Discord.
When Jojolion came out Araki got asked in an interview about the relation between Part 4 Josuke and Part 8 Josuke, and he replied with something along the lines of "Don't think of them as being the same character. Instead think of them as people from different dimensions that have a similar frequence"
The Earth has been through at least a dozen of these cycles because the events of JoJo keep happening in some incarnation. However, the effects are limited to Earth and the rest of the universe proceeds as normal. This means there are a lot of Karses that end up hanging out together on Mars
Then Steel Ball Run and Jojolion and now Jojolands are an entirely different universe, surprise fanservicey moments notwithstanding.
you can essentially call them a reboot. the exact mechanics are more complicated but also don't matter at all
Aztec Dubstep while wiping out a platoon of Nazis

Going back a page, my Dad read the Evangelion manga, and while I don't remember if he liked it, I do remember him saying something akin to "Misato is my kind of girl", because she both partied hard and worked hard.
Yeah. I was thinking, "Okay, you (my friend) do you, but honestly if we're talking anime and nuance in villain writing, Fairy Tail wouldn't be my first go-to example, and if Fairy Tail's strengths were to be listed, nuance wouldn't be its top three".
Anyone have a rundown on the Fairy Tail baddies and their motivation? I have a feeling there's barely anything beyond "boo-hoo bad childhood, humans/<insert faction here> are bad" or the Naruto-Pain-like "Cleanse everything, it's the only way".
The other was a scenery chewing dragon who was super strong who viewed other living beings as insects and wanted someone strong to fight.
In general if the villains were attractive, they became friends afterwards. Ugly villains usually get beat up and put on a bus to leave.
Anyway, picking back up on Spy x Family. It's all sugar and goofiness and man I do find myself enjoying it. I'm usually not a fan of these kinda, I dunno what you'd really call it, slice of life animes? But this one is good.
I dunno what I'm gonna watch after this, though. Everything that's reccomended is like, I got Woken Up as an Accountant for A Dragon Wizard in Fantasy Land and Also I Have Magic Powers and I kinda fuckin hate that shit
have you watched Summer Time Rendering yet?
