It probably depends on the complexity of what you're drawing, too.
+ some artists are literally multiple times faster than other artists for the same task. + how good/fast your assistants are. + how many revisions.
But regardless of all that, I still don't understand how anyone is pushing out 20 page chapters every week.
I've also been catching up on all the shows I neglected while I was playing video games instead of watching anime the last two months. First up is Endo and Kobayashi's Live Commentary on the Villainess. This show is so sweet I think I got diabetes. One of the better fluffy romcom premises in recent years.
This is amazing.
So many people in the movie became so famous in the intervening years.
I wonder if they'll adapt all 6 books for the anime, rather than abridging it like they did for the movie.
Chris Evans doing voice work for an anime makes me weirdly excited
A thousand years!
Rock Band DLC | GW:OttW - arrcd | WLD - Thortar
It's Science Saru so it won't be a cheap out production
It will 100% look weird as shit though, which I'm personally looking forward to (I just hope they don't kill any animators)
Yeah I wish they'd had like one or two more episodes so they could've squeezed a bit more from the manga, but I'm sure with the way anime works it was either this or a full 24 episodes where they'd have to pad everything out and ruin all the comedic timing.
Could still get an OVA
Ima be honest I thought ep12 was the last one so I was happy with the ending in the actual last episode
I have this on VHS and I'm not attached to many things in life but I'll probably never part with it
Sony suddenly remembering they asked everyone to stop using the Funimation app and switch to Crunchyroll.
I was so blown away that I made it a point to check it out from the library just to watch it again, it was that good.
They animated the OP and ED this time. Neat.
No word on a dub yet.
Neat! Gonna watch that tonight
Even the last episode title matched me philosophically perfectly:
Sometimes you don't want to suffer! Sometimes you just want to eat ice cream and enjoy the hell out of it.
What the fuck is that even? I mean I guess it's the finale or whatever, but why the fuck is it listed as S25?
Then the episodes of S25 are listed as "Episode 1, Part 3" and "Episode 2, Part 4"
Well then where the fuck are parts 1 and 2?
Just... fucking why?
It actually can! For example, you'll see stuff like "English Dub Season 1" and "Spanish Dub Season 1". So you could very easily write "OVA" or "Movie" in that text space. It's just a matter of not being a doofus when you curate the listing.
So Sony bought everything and then sent emails to all the Funimation paid subscribers (like me, back then). "Hey, we're winding down Funimation and adding everything to Crunchyroll. Please start subbing to Crunchyroll, that is our main thing now. To make this transition easier, here's a few free months of Crunchy." Okay, fine, could have been worse. I dutifully took them up on that. Since then they have:
-Not improved the Crunchyroll app to the base level of everything the Funimation app had
-Not migrated over a TON of content
and the one that REALLY makes me upset
-Added new things exclusively to Funimation, like Gundam Narrative.
If the parent company for WB/Discovery makes their HBO/Discovery combined (monstrosity) app a real thing before Sony finishes this so called transition, they (Sony) are a stupid joke. WB/Discovery is also a joke, but that's neither here nor there.
So it's not all bad.
No excuse for "S25", that's just dumb, and potentially very confusing if a fourth season ever happens.
