I maintain the 2nd movie was a blatant cash grab, but it sure did end up pretty.
Spatula of Gehenna
*snort, wheeze*
...
Oh, right, Geass on Animenagerie:
Ruling on linking to Code MENT during the viewings?
They are in fact the same writer. I remain convinced that the tight number of episodes has been nothing but a boon to G-witch, forcing it to focus on the important beats (and saving budget for when it's needed)

Careful with that, there's some stuff in it that has absolutely not aged well.
140 just came out in Japan this week, so 4 left.
"Call my therapist. Tell him he's a rich man."
Marginal Service is like 500% more serious than the promos let on. It's basically Men In Black, if the MIB were sentai dressed like fire fighters.
And then the ending of the episode is a montage with the announcer from Smash Brothers screaming everybody's names.
List of recent manga off the top of my head where the main characters actually started dating and the series still continued (not counting series where they are already dating in the first chapter):
(Don't click if you're reading a romcom manga and aren't caught up)
There's also the odd situation of Cuckoo's Fiancé where the main guy has started dating the best girl, but she's possibly not the endgame girl which will suck.
So does this seem to confirm that the Gundam bits (and Suletta) are all probably Eri clones?
Also the part that starts at 45 seconds where Suletta has her hair down and is controlling the bits herself without Aerial is really great and I really hope it happens in the show as well.
i know! and he also was a contributing writer for turn a gundam! i'm hoping gwitch turns out much more like the latter than the former
yeah, I knew in my bones it was the kind of manga where they have no interest in writing about an actual relationship beyond the will-they-won't-they drama phase and it would end soon as soon as the core premise started being addressed, as most of these do, but still disappointing.
Feels like an ending where the magazine dictates an ending in x chapters and then the author has to scramble to squeeze in some sort of ending.
This has long been a running problem with romcom stories in the genre, and I'm glad they're finally moving past it.
I literally showed my partner who was doing their masters at the time and teaching video art for the grad program, the part toward the end just as a video art piece and they gave it the good art stamp of approval
Yeah, after an episode and a half of being waaay too horny, it eases up. After that it's... honestly still pretty horny, but less frequently and way less intrusively.
What's next on Baccano!
I like the TV ending a lot
But I think 3+1 is the canon ending I truly yearned for, in one way or another
It better be the dub or why I outta
"Suletta... I want all of you."
Other Sulettas: ? ? ? ?
"Now get your mopey asses over here so I can embrace you properly!"
I think that one is the story that is the most "when will this be done so I can find out what happens in the end" of anything I'm reading right now; I wish the author would a:stop introducing even more new characters that I don't care about, and b:quit it with all the its-not-really-incest-I-swear stuff, ugh. But it _is_, frustratingly, not clear what the ending will be, which keeps me curious, but it's also increasingly not clear that we'll get to the end any time soon.
A few more for the list of 'they got together' (none of which are really spoilers because it's blindingly obvious they're going to get together):
Kimi to Pico-Pico (what if the cute girl in the video games club was really into old 8-bit era games? Also interesting if you actually like video games. Oh, and it has an Ashita No Joe turned-to-white-ash reference)
The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length (already mentioned, still great)
and Insomniacs After School, which is just wonderful and everyone should read it. (Seriously, I've been meaning to plug this one for ages now, it's really charming and nice and feel-good, and the story isn't just will-they-wont-they-get-together, they will, they do, it's very much about what else happens)
Slightly more spoiler-y:
because of the latest chapter (21), which just all of a sudden advances things enormously. or does it? It's hard to say, but it sure made me gasp when he just drops that into conversation. Also it's a pleasant read either way.
I am reading the Kaguya manga because I got tired of waiting for the anime. I have reached two conclusions at this time:
1. Miko Iino is a garbage girl.
2. Maki Shijo is cute
secret third conclusion
That's... uh... ambitious.
