I know very little about this anime, but I know one of my friends occasionally posts screenshots and honestly the whole thing sounds the fun kind of goofy.
One that had me chuckling, as an example:
I heard that season 1 is decent and season 2 is amazing.
Wonder if Priconne would still be classified as a gacha anime when the Global version is dead now
yes princess connect is forever cursed with the mark of gacha
I've watched at least two gacha tie-in shows where the game still hasn't come out.
The Eurovision will continue until morale improves
it's very distracting (also certain characters start jumping off model as as result)
Given what I remember of the writing in the actual game a whole lot more than the beginning needed to be made more coherent.
The plot of it gets *really good*
But the first few chapter were not written by actual writers so its just incredibly stilted unclear dialogue
same shit happened to horse girl
In the current chapter, cursed trees suck the life out of the land before transforming into zombie enemies, and then you fight a giant mecha (note: I read the story long after playing it, since the flow of reading a 15 minute segment of a VN before playing a level is really obnoxious).
That's one, the other is Estab Life. The list of shows where the game instantly died is even longer.
that's the only version i've seen, and i think it might be the only version available nowadays
there was a blu-ray release some years back, not sure if that has all the original animation, but they only made 2,000 of them (and also it was priced at like $899 USD)
Actual massive spoilers for arknights
This is on top of finding out one of the races religions has been worshipping some kinda super computer this entire time, finding out not cthulu is real and is just hanging out in that pond over there, and that most of the world is unexplored due to Yeti things in the north that no one will talk about.
Game good! Every time they do a event now I end excited for the next in that story string
The whole joke in the manga is that it's black and white so they don't actually have to color them.
I thought they were rainbow or something wild, that's why they're always closed.
Steam
really looking forward to the anime adaptation

Plus afaik Mashle isn't made by a bigot so it's got two up on HP
But the most consistent visual and world-building parody is Harry Potter.
So all the other gags referencing an almost uncountable number of different series are against the background of that first parody.
Yeah I've only seen one episode but it's like... one part HP parody, one part shonen parody, one part actually genuine critique of multiple issues with the HP setting. I definitely plan to watch more.
It doesn't seem especially mean about it, either. It's just... there.
Like "Haha, what if Saitama went to Hogwarts"
The main character is literally magic-less, in a society where he would likely be killed for that! Contrast that to how the HP setting deals with non-magicians (which is to say either not very, or using it as a weak racism analogy), where there's not a single one who serves as anything close to a main character, or who is portrayed as serious or likeable in any way.
But what lyrics!
There are like 5 languages in this thing, some of the lines are in Chinese.
I mean, sure. It's a valid criticism of Harry Potter to say that it treats non-magic people as unimportant or even downright inferior.
Mashle's universe does the same, but puts a non-magic character front-and-center and has him regularly best magic users.
But he does it using what is, essentially, still magic. So it doesn't seem critical so much as just... comical lamp-shading.
