has anyone read jack kirby's fourth world saga? i read the first issue of new gods and thought it was interesting, but am not sure if i want to invest in the first of four $50 omnibuses. is it really good and worth reading?

I think I missed an issue of New X-Men. Also, I don't know who any of the characters are, so ehhhhhhhh. Art was nice, though.

Probably the best issue of Countdown so far, but still not great. I'm going to give it another month, I think. Also, that cover is awful.

Spidey, New Avengers, WWH and Nova were probably my favorites this week. War Journal is kind of...not great right now. I kind of wish they'd told this story in a linear fashion, because it really doesn't need to be told out of order or whatever the fuck is going on there.

i have to agree with it feelng like its 8 pages long, but this one just seemed like a filler issue, im still enjoying the series on a whole though, now i just have to wait 3 months for the next issue

If they ever get Trials back on something resembling a regular schedule, that'd be great.

Also, FNS was so good that I'm now saddened that Peter David is leaving the book in four months.

I like Lantern Bzzd. Being so small, you know Bzzd has gotta be pretty tough. I feel pretty much the same about the sentient virus in the Sinestro Corps.
