Arizona is just far enough to make PAX difficult and expensive, but not far enough to make it an amazingly cool adventurous road trip. Honest, I'm wondering if I should take the train or a plane.
Hum. The drive through the desert of AZ then NV would make for a rather uneventful scenic drive. But if you got a van with friends set up a few LCD screens then it could be a several days of pure gaming delight.
Just make sure to obey the speed limit when you get close to those small towns as the local cops don’t seem to have much to do beyond count scorpions and ticket the few tourists that attempt to fly through their town.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
I got a 1991 Toyota Tercel. I think I'll just keep speeding through the states. I mean, how awesome would it be to show up at PAX with a police convoy from at least three states? I'd put PAX on the news that night for sure!

“You better take care of me Lord, if you don't you're gonna have me on your hands.”
If you can pull this off then when you get to PAX there will be no cops
