and this one dude in the class was like "say i'm in a streetfight, what's the first thing i should do?"
instructor is like "you knee him in the balls. you grab his shoulders and you knee him in the balls until he goes limp in your arms and passes out from the pain."
he was just like
but honestly what did you expect
it's like the most effective thing to do to a guy in a fight

protip - nobody who gets involved in street fights knows how to rotate their hips
Pony, is Muay Thai actually that great? I mean, I heard it kinda sucks unless it's couple with something else.
muay thai is awesome for muay thai competitions
it is an absolutely perfect sport for the environment it was designed for
as a method of self-defense or mixed martial arts thing it is of limited value
when you hear guys say "muay thai needs to be combined with a ground art like jiu jitsu" it's because in a MMA environment straight strikers don't do so hot usually
the guys who do are famous for doing so
because it's basically just striking. some of the hardest, fastest, most intense striking in any martial art, but it's still all just punch, kick, knee, elbow, maybe headbutt if you're dirty
some jiu jitsu or judo guy is gonna fuck you up. throw you on the ground and choke you out or break your arms

Ahh, so it all depends on what it's being used for. See I wanted to learn a martial art lately, but I diden't know which one to go for, I was kinda leaning towards Muay Thai, Hapkido, or Taekwando, just because I'm Korean. But I've been hearing some bad things about Muay Thai lately so, you know, gotta double check.

What can they do!
I must know, quick!
it's so descriptive
i mean, i tell you i am going to use "crane of the noon day sun" and you don't know what the fuck
monkey steals the peach
you know exactly what i am doing
But do you really say what move your going to use before you use it?

So what can those skilled in chi kung do?
You sure do, if you're a Sailor Scout, professional wrestler, or over-the-top drunken ball-busting kung fu master. So basically, anyone who matters.
if i stomped my foot down, and screamed "PANTHER STRIKE!" and looked really intense
my opponent would shoot me with a gun
maybe stab me with a knife
'use the lift generated by this manouvre to launch their opponent into the sun.'
Happens all the time
But they can only shoot you once before the panther strike kills them.
Work with me here
and then they will collapse into a crying mess
i know i would
i cry like a little girl from a shot to the rocks
Secret Satan
I want to edit balls into the hand soooooo bad.
you'll never work in this town again

HILARIOUS
i pretty much have no rules at all in an outright street fight
because honestly
the only reason i am in that environment is because some asshole wants to fuckin hurt me bad maybe kill me
so i'm going to smash his junk
punch his throat
thumb his eye, whatever
all that fancy shit goes out the window
I borrowed it from my highschool library once
I remember that exact picture
