that guy from NextLevelGuitar had a cover of that. it sounds simple enough, but is it really "romantic"?

I mean, with lines like "Dont wanna meet yo daddy, just wanna meet my caddy. dont want to meet yo momma, just wanna make you come-a" that'll definitely get the ladies....;-)

Casimir Pulaski Day by Sufjan Stevens is the thread-ender, here.

that's one of my favourite songs ever =)

It's pretty easy to play, too.. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/s/sufjan_stevens/casimir_pulaski_day_crd.htm

    Two thoughts for you:

Bob Dylan's "Lay, lady, lay" is pretty easy and fairly impressive. He'd quit smoking when he recorded it, so it doesn't really sound like a mumbly, whiny Dylan song.

If she has a sense of humour, try Tenacious D's "Fuck her gently."

"Something" by The Beatles is one hell of an awesome romantic song if you adapt it to acoustic, which is pretty self-explanatory for the most part. Who doesn't like that song?
