I vote Fyre's mother for overlord. I mean, she's been around for a long while, we play with her all the time, and she's been a real sport about the beatings we've given her.

I concur. And she's intimately familiar with every current member, but has no hesitation about getting to know new guys. She's a great leader too, I've seen her handle twelve different men at once before.
So has a clan system been confirmed for H3?
And if so, whos to say we have the same Overlord/Staff/Member/Peon rankings eh?
I mean there could be some crazy below peon for teh supersuck...?
Or I'm just crazy posing due to lack of sleep.. either way I love MC :P
Long story short. My 2nd headset broke, I borrowed my cousin's since he had two headsets and one Xbox. One of his headsets broke and wanted his 2nd back. It's a lot more complicated then that but thats it simple.

Oh, and as regards to where I sit in the Halo3 clan Hierarchy. I don't care really, so long as I'm in. I've been playing for a while, and was Staff for a bit in Halo2, but there are old TBK members who probably deserve slots more than I do.
B.C. on
Friend code for Pokemon fiends everywhere: Arch 0447-6824-1112
Hey for the dudes who talk about Halo all the time and never play, This is your time to get on. Myself and Tin are getting with some firm fresh newb asses.
And some 8 year old Pokeman fanatic just talked smacked to me(lol). The little accident of a teenage mother and an abusive step dad got spared because I don't have my mic.
Fyre hates me I sent a friends request he still hasn't accepted. I think it's to get back at me for not hiring him at my store :P
What? :P Did you send a FR to "PhyreWulff TBK" and not "FyreWulff" which has been defunct since last year (screw you MS for holding onto names forever)

Tonight is Forza 2 race night at the Arcadians. I'll be over there most of tonight.
Guys, reading Halo: The Flood is like playing Halo:CE in my BRAIN! it's so...exciting...
reading Halo: The Flood is like a fanfiction addict having a go at a walkthrough.
Yeah....but I'm reading it for completion sake, then onto the other two books.
yeah, that's its one saving grace, that it does tell some other story of things happening on Halo. Although the side-story with the comedy capers of an elite (who keeps getting foiled at the last minute in his attempts to catch the Chief) and his grunt (who just wants to find a corner to sleep!), reads more like a Roadrunner script. That was painful.
Ah', Come on ! You know you guys want to play. And if we get a lot of guys we can do some custom games. We'll give a brief rundown on the rules and we'll have a fuckin' good time. Get to know the inner bastard in me and the others.

Yeah, I also don't particularly like the combat and how it just drones out the actions. Master Chief shoots the grunts from right to left, or they take the warthog up to the right. It's annoying, and dull.

or he "unholsters his pistol, snaps on the scope, and downs the patrolling elites with a couple of headshots" no, not at all, that is not how you write action (i've done this bit before, actually)

Yeah, they didn't have to take the gameplay and translate it into the book. That's just dull.
And, good games tonight tin and Mr. Wulf, along to any other lads who joined in on the shenanigans. That girl on Containment was hilarious.
Damn, I went to watch Die Hard 4. Are the shenanigans quote worthy? Any quirky one liners from Tin or Fyre? Like when Tin called out that mother in BtB game saying go take care of her kid. My and my friend were LoL'ing when he said that.
I'd love to play a bit, but I must say that I suck at Halo 2. And I mean bad. The last few times I tried to play, I was more or less running in circles getting BRed/sworded/grenaded without a clue what was going on (since I know none of the 4000 maps the game has these days). So send me some invites, gents!
(PS. I consider Halo: The Flood among the worst pieces of fiction ever written; I'd rather read a pornographic Harry Potter Fanfic than read The Flood again. Just thought I'd contribute ).

That was hilarious if it was the other night when some mother was yelling at her kid before the match, and I do believe that was it.
I much prefer the 360 controller to either of the original Xbox ones and I don't know if I'm actually better but I do know I'm fairly awesome at LANs and when I played online I was good..
I'd venture a guess I'm a tiny bit better playing on the 360 compared to my original.
Sticks on the Controller S are slightly taller, with a little more spring to them than the 360 controller. The things I can do in UC2 with the S vs. with the 360 controller are significant, because the S seems to be able to stop on a dime while the 360 controller does not(I don't know how to explain it any better than that).
Halo 2, with the borderline excessive auto-aim.... ehh, you get used to it, its no big deal, and overall, you're stuck with the 360 controller from here on out, so... its no big deal.

Edit: If you want to invite me let me know in a pm first so i can get my monitor hooked up.
It's where I got my snazzy sig and avatar. :winky:
This is not a Request.
You have 2 Months to Comply.
I'll be on Halo 2 some time tonight.

That comment alone has granted you a clan spot.
I'll be pushing bumpers to reload and shit.
But you'll learn to change pretty quickly.
-Thanks

I
what
they are basically the same thing you know, except now it is so much easier to press the white and black buttons
It's not the buttons so much, it's the sticks.
Even when I have a 360 over here, I prefer to boot up the old Xbox for Halo 2 fun.
And I only ever really need to press the black button for grenade switch, since I use Dpad Up to teamtalk.
I'd venture a guess I'm a tiny bit better playing on the 360 compared to my original.

Heh, if only you had chosen to reach this conclusion sooner, you could have enjoyed other games. :P
