Every day you are one step closer to dieing. It's science, you can't argue it, shut up. What you can't also argue verily as well...forsooth (I wield the English Language like a club), is that life will always go on.

Well how is life going on for everyone here?

What personal quests are you close to almost finishing, just starting or hoping to embark on?

I just graduated from my six month training academy, and barring the unseen, I'm on a path that I'll follow for the next 25-30+ years (in one aspect of life).

Socially, professionally, whatever, lets hear it.

Hmm, life is actually pretty good.

I have an a job that is only OK for a college grad, but stable.

I have an apartment I can afford, I'm paying off my bills and some small loans, and I'm beginning to save a modest amount of money.

I have a girlfriend who shows a lot of promise and has a lot of similar interests.

However I'm WORRIED that this will not be enough, forever.

I'm worried (excited?) that I will probably have to move to a much bigger city.

I'm worried that I might apply to get my MT certification and fail.

And I'm worried about not spending enough time with/not being grateful enough to my family, particularly my dad.

I don't know that I can actually die. I know other people can, but me, not so much. I'm pretty sure I'm immortal, and I'm pretty sure I'll live forever at worse floating in space or some shit. I hope to buy some stocks low and sell them right before the Big Crunch.

I wouldn't say that's the greatest knowledge...I mean, the uselessness of life gives everything an objective nature of useless and...gray. Middle. Plain. Nothing. So no knowledge can be greater than any other knowledge, unless in size. All subjective experience and opinion means nothing.

This knowledge is, however, correct. Life just is.

I submitted a story to a couple magazines for publication, potentially putting me one step closer to my goal of being captain successful author man.

And I've been working on my novel (cue Family Guy quotes), which is another step in that plan.

So now I need to wait four to six weeks for a reply. Good times.

Goals are good, or boredom sets it. If you're bored all the time, then life is pointless. Once life is pointless, cutting follows. I'm at the boredom stage, so I need some short and long term goals, STAT!
