Shoes. For feet. Feet-shoes, if you will. That's what us young'uns call them where I'm from.
I have two pairs of feet-shoes. One pair is heelies. Yes, the kind with the wheels in them. Yes, I'm comfortable with my age and sexuality. They're actually a lot of fun, and surprisingly strenuous...and the humor gained from watching your friends try is priceless.
I got another new pair today; Puma Suedes. They look a little something like this:
Shoes, guys. Shoes. The only thing mock-worthy are Birkenstocks, Crocs, Hush-Puppies and individual toe socks.
No exciting shoes, here...but I was so geeked up about these sandals (Keen "Newport"), that when I bought them last year, I went ahead and wrote a lengthy blog about them.
i have three pairs of all-stars (one blue, one extra tall, one leather), a pair of brown suede vans hi-tops, some plaid slip-ons from payless, a pair of white adidas with blue stripes from the adicolor line and some pairs for worky sort of stuff
I like them a lot. I like vintage style Adidas shoes best but they can be harder to find.

day to day, depending on my other clothes I wear either these
or these
or these
if I'm going out someplace fancy or on a date or something, I usually wear these
ive got
black and white all stars
white on white nike air force 1s (2 pairs of high tops and 1 pair low)
these camo p. miller sneakers
some black nike airs
patent leather black adidas
timberland sneakers
timberland bootssome
some dress shoes of unknown make that have built in gel pads (ohhh god those are comfy)
black and gold Makaveli sneakers with a pattern of gold $100 bills
some blue boots of unknown make
and I have some Iverson flip flops
Impromptu hiking? No problem. I usually wear these unless I'm flying because they're badass and really comfortable:
I should get lighter running shoes for other stuff but I need to wear orthotics or else my right foot will feel like it splits in half at the arch, and I'm too lazy to constantly swap them between shoes blah blah blah.

I'm excited about my Sailor Jerry chucks.
I could never find a pair that fit me any good, since they are, by design, a very long, narrow shoe and I have wide feet. But I squished into a pair of twelves that have nicely stretched to give me ample width and are only about an inch too long.
The whole bridal party is wearing Chuck Taylors at my brother's wedding in October.
Blck for the boys, white for the girls. Even the bride.
I bought just about the exact same pare of sneakers as the OP. Except mine look like they actually were made by Puma, instead of being a rip-off of some Chuck Taylor's.
I have a Chucks-related question. I was in the mall with a couple of friends and they wanted to stop in the Hot Topic and take a quick look around. It was as painful as I imagined, but they had a pair of Chucks for sale that were grey and made of an incredibly soft material - not like the canvas that regular Chucks are made out of.
Has anyone seen these awesome Chucks anywhere else? I would very much like a pair.

was it suede? you should find out what the actual material was.

Possibly. The star on the inner side was stitched on in soft, fuzzy material.

Oh god it is like running on tiny little pillows full of birdies and rainbows.
So nice.
I wear them everywhere. School, work. I am wearing them right now. A couple of times, I even wore them to sleep.
That is all.

The girlfriend hates them.

None of the places around here carry size 14 :x
oh god I feel your pain.
when I buy shoes I find a couple pairs I really like and then say to the guy "got 14s?" and he laughs and I groan.

They are some Vans I found at a discount shoe place for 12 dollars. They are pretty comfortable and durable for 12 dollar shoes.
I've bought an N.W.A. shirt, a Gears of War shirt, and an Eazy-E shirt.
Good shit.

Yeah
hueg
wait, wha?
Nope
For running/working out I wear
For laziness/I'm walking like two miles from my apartment/it's too damn hot for shoes:
I need me some classy dress shoes though. Some of my friends are getting married this year.
