360 concern --- Unreadable disk?

Hey guys, I'm a little worried about my 360.

This is a new one I've got from MS after my other one stopped working (three red lights on RoL), and so far it's been working fine. I've had Live! and my arcade games transferred no problem. But once, the intro movie of Shadowrun got some lag at a point, then I got a "Error, disk unreadable" while playing. Turning the system off and on solved the issue, never happened again. Just now, Vexx gave me a Disc error crap too. Removing the disc and re-inserting it in solved the issue.

It's happened twice in little more than week, and it didn't happen on my old system. Does anyone else have experience with this? Do you think there is a serious issue there, or was I just very unlucky and it won't happen again?

I plan to keep playing, see what happens, and if it keeps doing it, contact MS. I just want to know what you guys think of this.

Uh oh. This sounds like what happened to me. If the 360 stops recognizing that discs are even in the tray (it still says "Open Tray" when a disc is in there), then just call Microsoft, 'cause your 360 is only gonna go downhill.

I'm about to send mine to MS for repair. =(

    Sorry.

    God fucking damnit!
Oh well. Maybe, just maybe, it was a stroke of bad luck.
    Maybe.

I wish I wasn't an atheist, so I could pray some divinity that this is just a one-time shot.

Give it some time, it could be fine. Don't lose sleep over it or anything.

    Good luck.

The first time it happened (with Shadowrun), my brother said that it might just be some dirt that caused the error. Is there any good disc drive cleaning product that you guys know of that won't damage the 360 or its warranty?
