I'm having a hard time posting this, as it is a very small problem in relation to a lot of the things that I read here, but here goes anyway.
My girlfriend has an area rug in her TV/livingroom area that has a ridiculous crease in it. She has a spindly-legged coffee table that the rug tends to get pressed up against, and over time has created a ridiculous crease that we can't seem to get out (tried heavy stuff on top, pulling extremely hard on the ends, etc.). It has creased over itself and refuses to hold shape once we flatten it, and it has sort of altered the overall shape of the rug. Anyone know any good household remedies for straightening this out?
go to home depot's rental area and hire a "carpet kicker" and a 2 tack strip hammer the tack strip into some flat area ,push the area farthest from the crease into one side then"kick" the crease out to the other and leave it like that for a week
