[Help] PC Control Lag

the short and skinny: whenever i play an fps on my pc, the controls lag out on me like crazy. the games run fine, but the wasd keys either take 3 or 4 presses to register, or they register and then just stop after a second or 2. its starting to make playing any fps game impossible. also, its not only wasd, its pretty much any key held down for a couple seconds.

ive tried running the games at lower priority, but that didnt do anything.

my specs:
Windows XP home
P4 2.4 ghz
1 gig ram
radeon 9700 pro
microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard and mouse 1.1

does it do that if you plug it into any other USB ports (if the kbam is USB)

same for all my usb ports.

it helped when i moved the tranceiver thing directly next to the keyboard, as opposed to a couple inches away.

Does your keyboard have batteries. Have you replaced them recently.

Crummy keyboard, or maybe something interfering with its signal. I have a Logitech wireless keyboard in the closet that I don't use because of just the problems you describe.
