This is moving up to my most anticipated game after Galaxy right now.

Oh, and it seems Marvelous, who also localised the various Harvest Moons, are apparantly doing the PAL release.

    How's ubisoft with manuals?

It better not be a grayscale piece of shit. I like it thick and colorful.

I can't think of a greyscale Ubisoft manual off the top of my head, the KOTOR manuals were colour.

Is it true that Travis is partly based on Johnny Knoxville? I got kind of a kick from that suggestion.

G4/trailer/talkie thing. The oh-so-clever-and-slightly-smarmy Adam and Morgan run their mouthes a lot, but there is some good stuff here. Travis is a huge fan of anime and pro wrestling, so he does wrestling moves too! And the whacking off, err umm... sword-charging thing looks hilarious and bizarre.
Yeah, when I saw the beamsword charging on NMH Gampley video 3 on gamespot, I couldn't believe what I saw and rewound. That's nuts! (pun intended) In case no one has linked it, here's the video I'm talking about.

I am really looking forward to this game with gusto. However I am afraid it will be way to short. I haven't heard anything about length of gameplay, but I am really hoping it has a ton of sidequests and such.

Ten longish levels should be plenty.

i'm willing to bet that there are at LEAST 11 levels or boss stages :) but yeah, sidequests would be nice

Any freeroaming element would be wasted without side quests, so I got to think there is. You would be a pretty lame assassin if the only folks you killed were other assassins.

Suda 51 has said recently in an interview that the version of the game played at TGS was the japanese build and that the western releases will have the gratuitous amounts of gore that previous trailers have shown off. On top of that, the demo is apparently working off of a modified gamecube engine for because that's all they could put together in time. The final product, he says, will have improvements in the graphics department. Plus, they didn't have component cables at TGS. :P

I thought it was odd that in one of the more recent videos enemies exploded into money when they were dispatched. It just didn't look quite right.

It's great how Japan allows that box art but doesn't allow the gore and how the US will be the exact opposite.

America "You can chop off a breast, you just can't kiss it"
Japan "You can kiss a breast, you just can't chop it off"

The dude with the superhero-ish duds and laser belt is Destroyman.

The official site is usually updated about once a week. I can't understand any of the language, but it is fun to browse the site and look at pictures.

From what I've seen, the playable demo was basically 'here's a warehouse with some baddies. Chop their asses up with 1-hit beginning combos!'.

And if the game can make THAT look awesome, I quiver with anticipation to play the full game.
