Oh god, Cthluhu's lineup is mainly Pokemon I don't have access too and/or Pokemon I haven't been able to train up yet but would have liked to have used.
Good match, man. I was really worried your first guy had a move that would have taken my first guy out. Those first two rounds were going to decide the flow of the match.

He had Brick Break, which might have been enough to take you out. But you're right, after those first two rounds I was on the back foot, and never really recovered. I guess I need to go back to the drawing board now and come up with something better for the next tournament.
Now make sure you go and win, so I can say I got knocked out by the champion
For the record, my team consisted of Empoleon, Breloom, Rhyperior, Rotom, Snorlax and Ninetails.

Ah, the move I was worried about was Mach Punch.
He used to have Mach Punch, but I decided he needed something with a little more oomph.

mystic_knight is my guy to beat this tourney

Since I can't learn Baton Pass on this guy because it's not a TM, I'm completely redoing his moveset, and luckily, his EVs should be easy to fix.
It's going to change how I planned to play my team, but I'm using 2 guys I wasn't planning on anyway, since I wasn't able to train Aggron and Roserade in time, so everything was already messed up anyhow.
Either way, I expect my battle with Taya, nay, all of you, to be EPIC.
That's right. You heard me. Tournament champion, right here.
God, I can be way too cocky for my own good sometimes. :P

I wanted to have a new Scizor, Salamence, and Vespiqueen trained for the tourney, but there's no way I can do that all today before I fight shoe. I'm just gonna finish EV training this one guy and be done with it.

I feel like I just lost at the seventh trainer in the Battle Tower.
I spent alot of thought and time and energy and now I don't even get a friggin point.
SOMEONE GIVE ME A POINT.
I'm gonna go watch Eps. 50 (L) of Samurai Jack to cheer up.
Wait, thats the sad Noir episode. With the robot and his dog.... Sigh. I can't win.
For those that can't view the spreadsheet, my team is:
Cradily, Dodrio
Magnezone, Starmie
Heracross, Muk
I invite all my fellow first round losers to come stand in this dark, dank, depressing corner with me. Misery loves company.

Hmm, well if you beat him, taya, you will become his stand-in.

I'm saying I think that he's going to be the hardest guy to beat in the tourney.

Hint: The avatar knows.
Also: I need help evolving this kadabra before I go in to fight shoe.
Any takers? (I need about 10 minutes to finish training him)

The answer is hell no.
It's like the Battle Tower.
Yeah, I noticed a certain... vulnerability when I got the lineup today, just based on types.
But we'll see what happens this evening.

Boy it sure does suck losing in the first round.
I took out one of his pokemon.

I was really proud of my just-completed team, I was brimming with confidence
and he DESTROYED ME
I bet you thought I forgot about that, didn't you? I'm not just going to beat you, RMD, I'm going to rend the flesh from your bones!
Assuming you don't get knocked off before we meet, of course.
I'm saying I think that he's going to be the hardest guy to beat in the tourney.
