Getting a Leather Jacket repaired

Hey everyone.

Last winter, my Dad gave me his vintage, very used leather jacket. This thing is probably one of my favorite pieces of clothing - but over the cold months I wore this thing to near-death. It's got some cuts on the outside, plus all the pockets are ripped and useless. There's tearing on the inside near the tag area.

Aside from that, it's a perfectly good jacket. I don't want to get a new one - this jacket is broken in just right and I love it.

So, I come to you guys for advice on where to take a leather jacket for repair work, and what kind of cost I'm looking at.

Thanks for any help.

Every time I've had one of my leather jackets tear, I brought it to mom and pop leather shoe store, they almost always do repairs on jackets too.
