NDS Problem, omg the B button became on/off button?
Ok, just recently after I got pokemon diamond I notice that my DS is turning it off by itself with full power. Since it only happen when I playing pokemon, I first ignore it, but after I run a few trial and error test, I found the cause of the problem.
When I hold down the B button (the one you hold to run in pokemon), the DS will turn off by itself.
I tried to hold the B button with/without a gamecart, in many different games I had... my theory is correct, I can turn off my DS just by holding down the B button. Simple pushing the B button will not turn it off, holding it down is fine as long as I do it softly, but as soon as I put a "little" more pressure while holding the B button, it'll turn off.
Anyone else had this problem before? or know how to fix it? Thank god I can still play elite beat agent and Mario.
Thanks.

I play Blazblue, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4 and soon Tekken 6... yeah... so add me if you want to play any of those.
I don't think you really can fix it short of sending it in to Nintendo for repairs, which is what I did. I think the best way is to call them up, have them send you the new one first, and then mail your busted one to them.
Strange. I wonder if, on the circuitboard for the DS, the copper lines running from the power button run just adjacent to where the B button's pad lands on its own copper connectors, and that if the button gets off center, it lands on the B connectors as well as the shortly nearby on/off copper lines...?
Anyone have a scan or photo of the DS circuitboard?
