Hell, she plays more than I do.

This has it's ups and downs, as you can imagine. However, if either of us are up for something more than WoW, fuck the game and we're doing something else. It's a nice thing.

quoting things that fit my own situation to a tee without adding a comment all up ins

I think the only reason I play WoW the little bit I do is because I'm single. I only play when I have absolutely nothing else to do. The second someone calls and asks if I want to go out though...WoW time is over. Probably why I've been playing for over 2 years and have never had a character reach level 40.

tsplitter, I'm inferring from your past couple posts that you are hard gay in real life.

im not sure what you mean here

did they give a valiant effort but ultimately lose every game or did you mean to say that they win almost all the time

RP would be great if it weren't for the fact it required other people not be to colossal faggots.

Oh your parents were murdered by an evil mastermind and now you're out for revenge using your super-human ability to whinge and cut yourself? That's so interesting.

that aspect of things really sucks

that's where reading backgrounds really helps

read a dude's background, you can gauge his general creativity, intelligence level, and how much effort he will put into RP

    plus

you get to watch out for that hazardous ((Mature RPer)) tag

my server was the former of my choices

true if they listened more than just rushed we would have won more but i still think the stormpike area is harder to take than anything on horde side

now that i think about it, AV is shit nowadays

its just rush to the other guys' npc and hope to god the enemy isnt as fast

I once caught someone RPing a 12 year old girl with the Mature RPer tag. I was horrified.

Why would anyone play WoW instead of hanging out with their GF and possibly getting sex? I can understand playing WoW to avoid a wife who wants you to do chores or some stupid ass activity with her family.

its hard to avoid someone if you at youre computer, out in the open

now if you mean the person in question is hiding in the closet with a laptop, then yes that would be a good plan

There's some of that "child play" on Second Life. Sick and twisted shit.

I first learned about it while looking at a big wall of prostitute ads.

Second Life is the perfect example of a world of total freedom

Give people the ability to do anything

And the first thing that will happen is a descent into every inequity previously unacceptable

    just because they can

    Nope. It's free.

You only pay if you want their fake money. Money buys you land and clothes and objects and whatnot, but there's plenty of free stuff around.

I actually got a bit of money from some random prize giver machine while hanging out at some night club. Not enough to hire a hooker. :(

The club itself actually had streaming audio, and a DJ taking requests and whatnot. It was kind of neat.

Streaming video in some places, too. My computer is crappy so I had that stuff turned off, but there were probably a few theatres hanging around that people made.
