There is an item that makes you immune.

    Immune to what?

Immune to the spell making it so you can't affect anything while under the affect of time stop?

Cause that's hella retarded if there is

Right, so I assume you never got the cloak that allowed you to reflect every single beholder blast back at them, either.

umm once time stop expired, all the spells you cast went off. and yes i know time stop isn't 5th level.time stop pretty much is what Hiro does in Heroes. you do a crap ton of stuff very fast, but they fixed this with 3.5 d20 by making it so you could still only cast one xtra spell with time stop instead of multipul spells.

Seriously, that post barely takes up two lines, and it feels like I'm reading one of those long, rant essays where the writer doesn't know how to seperate ideas because he's never learned what a "paragraph" was.

Hahahaha. It does kinda read like that, now that you mention it. Oh well, that's more of shitty writing than anything, and we can't expect everyone here to be fucking Hemingway (although that would be rad).

But that's only because in my head you field like 15-20 of these monstrosities at a time, which probably isn't the case.

Someone actually made a persistant universe thing that used Megamek. You earned credits, with which you payed to buy new mechs and pilots. As well, damage needed to be repaired between missions, and quite often you gained or lost mech chassis due to salvage.

    It was actually pretty frustrating.

There's always Neveron. It's one of those newfangled browser-based empire building games, but it's also got the battletech system (mostly) implemented in realtime for battles. Mind you, the way they handle initiative is just dumber than scout, but otherwise it's a fun, free game.

I loved the shit out of it. I should try to get back into it.
