Omega Flight was a massive disappointment for me. However, they did kill off all the Alpha Flight characters I liked except Sasquatch, thus the chances of me finding Omega Flight appealing were slim. Unfortunately, the haphazard, disjointed story did nothing to persuade me that my expectations were wrong. Marvel sucks for killing Heather Hudson, goddamnit.
this may be a silly question, but I haven't read a main Spider-Man book since the 90's, save House of M Spider-Man, but does he still have the spider tracers?
They've been seen as recently as the FCBD Spider-Man comic, and the Fraction's Spectacular Spider-Man annual, so unless something changed really recently, he does.
I don't know who the hell came up with the idea of splitting the Extinction story up into chapters and adding them to the ends of like 5 books, but I'd like to slap them. I'm not buying a bunch of shit I don't want (X-Factor excluded) just to follow your next HoM fallout story.
I dunno, I was ready to get back in to the mainline X books anyway, so it wasn't a huge problem for me. Except now I'm having to cut my pull list in half, and Adjectiveless and Uncanny have to go, since I can probably go back and get the back issues when my money situation brightens again.

Also, stop making HoM fallout stories already.
I'd be more upset, but I'm only adding one title for it (New X-Men, which isn't bad) and the backups are actually really good.
Can they even fill a trade's worth of pages with those backups? I only kind of skimmed through the ones in my copies of X-Men and New X-Men, but they looked like they might make up half a book when put together.

they are 8 pages each and there are 17 in total, plus the one shot (32 pages I think?) that makes up a decent sized trade.
Hey guys, I actually have a thread over in H/A. I was wondering, I haven't read comics in ages but was really wanting to get into a series focusing on Wolverine. The thread's right here.
It can be debated that Starlin is right in saying there's been a lot of bad New Gods stuff out there, but killing an entire part of the DC mythology doesn't make sense. Something is up, right? They're not really just killing off Jack Kirby's best contribution to DC, are they? As far as I can tell, it's no Elseworlds.
Part of any story about heroes, if done correctly, involves death and returning from death. This is many orders of magnitude more prevalent in any stories about gods. And double that if it has ever had anything to do with Jack Kirby.
We all know about Rip Hunter's little "No one can know my real name" thing. However, with him being a star of Booster's new series I'm betting that we're gonna find it out eventually.
My theory?
He's part of the Carter family line. Probably not Booster or Daniel, but one of their sons or grandsons.

That, or Squirrel Girl rocks his shit and he runs away.
It's doing very well for a B-list team scribed by relatively unproven creators.

Oh shit, numbers. I lose so hard.

The only redeeming features were Beta Ray Bill and USAgent.
"But USAgent is a douche!" you cry.
Yeah, I know. And those idiots in the book needed some good douching, let me tell you.

I just can't justify adding 5 new books to a pull list.
I have that shit pre-ordered already.
Same with The Question Volume 1 in October.
Yeah, I know.
But I'd rather buy the books if the entire thing is the story, not just a little backup.
So, I'm waiting for that.

That is actually pretty nice for a trade.
Thanks gents.
I'll assume it is. Wolverine and Wolverine: Origins are the "Wolverine only" books, but he's also in New Avengers and Astonishing X-Men.

be honest. you just try to find reasons to bitch at me.

Anyone else have any ideas?
