Due to a 5 day renewal those nice guys at CCP sent out for the RevII patch, I just renewed a 3 year old toon with 6 mil skillpoints. And much to my great surprise, I never learned a single propulsion jamming skill. Yeah, that's right, I don't know how to tackle... I feel so bad.
In entirely unrelated news, however, the Thorax I had back then is still fitted with 8 Ogre I's. Only overfilling the drone bay by about 150 m3's. I so want to 1v1 another cruiser and whip that surprise out. Only good for one shot... but woo, it'd be funny.
Long story short, I'mma gonna polish my "application", then head over to one of the WANGquarters, dock my flying phallic object with the station, and submit it. Also: spy on you. Gotta remember to do that.
That's what I'm gonna do with it. In the meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out why I parked an Iteron V in .2 space when I was carebearing. If I'd had a corp back then, and were, perhaps doing stuff with them... maybe I could come up with a reason. But the damn ships farther into dangerous territory than I was. Maybe I was mining idiocy.
What's real fun is I'm gonna pilot that to Hosh (assuming the traffic report doesn't include guaranteed death. If it's only likely death I'll risk it) Worst that could happen is I blow up.

Tried to undock with my overloaded dronebay, and the game appears to be smarter than that. If only I had quit playing outside a station instead of docked safely. Well, that puts a damper in the whole collectable aspect. I'm just gonna shoot things with it I guess.
I'd really like to get an answer to this question: is there some strong late night activity, or would being in the GMT+1 time zone leave me lonely in MERCHI?
Things tend to be kind of dead the last hour before and after downtime (GMT 0900-1200), but otherwise there are people on doing things around the clock. We've got a handful of German and other European players. I'm GMT -7/-8 myself but I'm on during the strangest hours. Also, if you train to set up cynos, I know a German carrier pilot that might be your friend.

There seems to be a good amount people on at any time, I wouldn't worry about it.

tl:dr -- 5 GS POSes come out of reinforced in late GS prime / early Russian prime. BoB brings full-force, even invites the pets along. All POSes are repped up and saved, Goons lose lots of ships because Goons are dumb t1 frig noobs, but BoB's fleet gets crushed every time they try to engage at the POSes. Culminating in a last-ditch effort where maybe 10 of their DPS fleet escapes.
I was there. I repped POS while the battle raged around me. Good thing I didn't bring a combat ship because I was getting about 3 frames per minute every time the BOB fleet warped in.
Mr. Wiggan doesn't seem to be a fun loving sort of guy.... I have had nothing less than a great time playing so far. I havn't got the skills to do any real pvp (prop jamming inc) but I have found everyone to be extreamly helpful.

After seeing my first fight, and watching the annoyances ship go up in smoke, the guys were nice enough to give me their cuts of the loot....something like 30 mil.

Oh and you cant run a trial and a non-trial or another trial account at the same time, meaning no multiboxing with trials.

If making a new account doesn't work, then either your browser or ccp's web page is fucked up.
They restrict you from multiboxing because it doesn't let you log into a trial if there's another instance of EVE running on the PC. You can skirt this, or you used to be able to, by running it as another user, by setting up a dummy windows account and doing right click->Run As on your eve shortcut, or just using a different machine.

I'll bet they beat us in isk damage even with t2 losses vs t1, but it's a ton closer than 90% ratios and whatnot.
