Am I the only one who read it and figured the girl partying and fucking around was probably gonna get farther in life, anyway? I mean the heroine of the story was like two dates away from getting knocked up and tied down, since her dad was an asshole and probably never taught her about birth control, either. She was obviously jealous of her friend and due for some experimentation.

Taxes support the government, which (ideally) prevents the rich from enslaving the poor, and the poor from hacking the heads off the rich. Everyone should be glad we have government and taxes, particularly the middle class.
