Less threads per page being listed

I don't know what happened, but all of the sudden I'm seeing less threads on a page listed than before. Did something happen with my viewing settings?

    That was me. I was testing the affect on the Load. We're running a pretty high load average right now, and I wanted to see to what degree I could control that by running in sort of a "lite" mode during peak traffic times.

    I also disabled the "moderator" tags that appear in the mods avatar boxes

    the moderator tags cause a significant amount of additional load? O.o

    I don't think so. But of the dozen or so plugins I've written, that one is the most likely to result in an extra database query, so I disabled it for good measure.

    The effect was negligible, though.
