Before I go on, yeah I know about pandora, but I was hoping you kind folk might help me out too. I've recently gotten into Electronic music more and more. To the point where it's starting to encroach as my favourite genre of music.

This is what I love:

MSTRKRFT
Ratatat
Battles
Justice
Hot Chip
The Knife

Can you guys reccomend any others? What are your favourites?

If you don't mind voices in your music, try: Re:vive Trance: 01 (Melodic vocal Trance Hits)

    Also:

    1. Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia
    2. The Oh! - Eternity
    3. Sylver - Turn The Tide
    4. Kate Ryan - Scream for more (Radio Edit)
    5. Beam & Yanou - The Free fall(Video mix)

    htttp://www.subatomicglue.com

subatomicglue is a brilliant fusion of a wide variety of electronic genres that comes off somewhere in between Autechre and early Aphex Twin. And all of their music is free to download. You'd have to be an idiot not to try them out.

My personal opinion is that their albums descend in quality from the most recent being best to the first one being the least good, although all of them have certain relative merits that will place at least a few songs from each on par with the best of any electronic artists, signed or otherwise.

    EDIT:
There's also a dark drum and bass collective called Black Sun Empire. It's hard, fast, aggressive music loaded with fast break beats, thundering bass, and dark melodies. They're a little bit different from the stuff you listed, but I think that anyone who's in any way serious about electronic music absolutely needs to at least know what they sound like, because they will completely alter your perceptions regarding what drum and bass can sound like.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

Digitalism are good. They just released their album Idealism.

Booka Shade is another I would recommend as well (myspace: http://www.myspace.com/getbookashade).

Alloy Metal (go to their myspace here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=47298085).

Check out Coburn as well, if you haven't done so already.
