I recently picked up a middle model macbook, and initally, it worked fine. I set it up, connected to my office's wireless connection, and all was well. However, when I took home and tried to connect to the internet here, it didn't work. It will connect to a signal through Airport; the bars are filled. It can be pinged. However, my internet functions do not work. I would appreciate assistance with this.
Hmm, it seems that the problem at home was that the entire system wasn't working. However, it is odd that I wasn't able to connect at the internet cafe, especially since my friend connected with his Macbook Pro right beside me.

edit: No you wouldn't get the bars if that was the case... Can you use another computer to see the router's page? Or go to the page with your macbook?
Mine is fixedy simply by running the network diagnostic again to set up the connection a second time.
