While the supertrip threads are nice and all, I was wondering if there were others that had to travel a bit further. I guess I was just curious.

I'm from Belgium myself.

We're coming from Ottawa, Ontario. It's no Belgium, but it's pretty far. We just gave up on the idea of Supertrips. At 30 years old we decided that spending a week in a cramped van with 6 other stank-ass geeks is probably not a good idea and so we bit the bullet and booked airfare.

I think one of our Enforcers is from England, and another person was coming from Australia.

A friend of a friend, who came over here for 2 years of study at a local uni, mentioned to his friend that he would be trying to come on over from London, England. Whether or not he's still coming, I don't know. But that's a decent ways away.

I'm certainly not traveling from Belgium. I've considered saving up for a trip to Belgium, though.

If for no other reason than to visit the Trappist monastaries.

Westmalle? I live like 15 minutes away from them by bike. We had schooltrips there, they're pretty interesting.

kentucky is known by a few things
    1. horse racing
    2. bourbon
    3. tobacco

so essentially booze, smokes and gambling

luckily i live in the Ville...so its pretty different here
    1. home of the louisville slugger
    2. home of papa johns
    3. home of muhamid ali
    4. home of the louisville cardinals..aka one of the best college sports school in the nation
    5. home of the kentucky derby...to us is different than the rest of the state because we treat it as a 2 week long party that ends with the derby infield craziness [think lots of partying with often partially nude young women] and starting with Thunder the largest annual fireworks show in the world

i grew up 2 minutes away from Churchill Downs...yet ive never actually watched a horse race in my life

Knobby and Woodford are both great, although my personal favorite is a tie between Basil Hayden and Booker's.

Westmalle wasn't one that I was thinking of. I had Westvleteren or Rochefort in mind.
