Are there zombies? Yes.
Zombies make anything good.
It appears they developed new scripting and camera technologies which allowed them to circumvent such an unwanted outcome for the films.
Having Nemesis cry and upgrading Alice with superpowers didn't exactly help either but I really dislike Milla Jovovovovvichwhatever so that might just be me.

Bah Nemesis lost his cool even before he cried by turning him from a highly fit super tyrant that can't be stopped, to a slow mindless fat blob with giant head.
Well I unlocked all the Mercs legitimately, and then I just used a trainer to set the score for 60000 on each level with each Merc since some of the levels with certain people is just a chore....and Dr. Salvador is a pain in the ass. Now everything is unlocked, and I wonder if I should do another normal run and swap out old weapons for new ones, then do a Pro run, or just go straight for the Pro run.
Right now I have a maxed Red9/stock and BB, a TMP/stock that needs an exclusive, SAR/thermal that needs an exclusive, and the Pump Shotty that needs an exclusive. I'm wondering if I should switch to a Striker and upgrade that. I could sacrifice some grenade space for another handgun or something that's only 2 squares high.
I'm nearing the end of my first playthrough with my guns carried over. This is awesome. The maxed-out handcannon kills Replicators stone-dead in two shots.

So, I just beat RE4: How Capcom Got Its Waggle Back, and I'm wondering. Should I do Assignment Ada or Separate Ways first? Is Separate Ways just a longer version of Assignment Ada?
Play Seperate ways, Assignement Ada is just a little timewaster minigame wheras SW has a lot more going for it in terms of filling in some of the blanks in the plotline
Assignment Ada is a lot more intense than Separate Ways (or at least it seemed that way when I played it). Also, beating AA unlocks the Chicago Typewriter for SW.

To me, they really made it easier since they gave Ada a knife.

So a group of us, sick of the movies after going four consecutive Tuesdays (only day a few of our members can meet) decided to take turns going through RE 4 on the Wii. I only got it a few days ago, and only played up to the mid point of chapter three. So there are four of us, a virgin to the series (and who's house we were over) two people who have gone through 3+ times each, and myself, who has been through at least five times on both the PS2 and GCN versions. So naturally never having played before and being his tv, we let the virgin go first. His first actual test of combat? The motherfucking cage match. Now we had decided that we were going on the die or make it to a end of section turn it over rule. So he gets his head sliced off right away. We decide to let him have another go and he clears it with only minor difficulty, and goes on to beat the section. Flash foward to his next turn, going into the ruins. So he knives the bear traps, kills the easy guys and doesn't believe us on the location of the chainsaw dude. We keep telling him "No matter what you do, DON'T FUCKING CLIMB THE LADDER!" So what does he do? He climbs it at the exact moment the good Dr. was jumping out. Since we had gone a long way without dying, there happend to be two of them down there after grabbing the key. So he frantically begins a game of knocking down ladders and throwing incindiary grenades. Then he does his next stupid move, he jumps out because he can't hear the chainsaw. We manage to convince him to run to the fucking stairs at the beginning and Red 9 the doctor the rest of the way down. It works. So he heads back in through the window, grabs the key and the herb, and starts going down the stairs. We yell at him to come back up, and he does, most of the way. We try to explain to him that he shouldn't stand there trying to shoot the Dr. in the head with the pistol, instead he should either use something stronger or JUMP OUT THE WINDOW. He keeps at it and gets his head lopped off. His excuse? "Well, I didn't think he would one-shot me..."

Looks like I have him grabbing the key twice. I think he must have not done it the first time, and the extra guys that he fried down there were the ones from around the door. Still, he was shit lucky, and would have done a scary ass moment without a scratch had he just jumped out the window.

Quick question: How's the PS2 version compared to the 'Cube one? All the extras sound enticing. Note that I don't own the game on either, I plan on buying it but I'm debating which version to get.

GC has better graphics, PS2 has some more extras, Wii is the best of them all.
Also, the PS2 version can't handle as many enemies on the screen at one time, from what I've heard, so areas are more barren overall.

She was OK with the notZombie killing aspect as far as gore goes. But once I got my head cut off she couldn't take it.
In Separate Ways, are there infinite Ganados in the village? I must've killed 100 of them before I finally said "fuck it" and just left.
They're definitely not infinite, because they stopped coming after a while. I think they set up the level so that more come whenever you enter a house/building/area that you haven't explored yet. Once you've been everywhere in the village, they'll probably stop coming. That's just a guess, though.
"Takeuchi only provided vague hints about the storyline. As many have guessed from the insignia that appears in the footage, main character Chris Redfield is a member of a group called BSAA. According to Takeuchi, something has happened in the desert area that serves as the game's setting, and BSAA has dispatched Chris to investigate.
Once on the scene, Chris encounters a new form of enemy. Takeuchi described the game's enemies as something of human form that has intelligence. However, the foes are neither zombie nor ganado (in reference to the creatures from RE4).
In addition to the new enemy, a certain girl will make an appearance in the game. She's someone whom fans of the series will recognize. In the full version of the E3 trailer (which will be distributed on Xbox Live and PSN later this month), she appears just briefly, but Takeuchi expects her to have a more significant role in the next trailer (no ETA given on that, unfortunately). In the game proper, she will have a big part both in the story and as part of the gameplay.
On the topic of gameplay systems, Takeuchi admitted to the magazine that the hardest part of development so far has been in mixing new elements with part 4's basic gameplay. For the most part, RE5 will be played from a perspective similar to that of part 4, with Chris appearing on the left side of the screen. However, Takeuchi also promised a big surprise addition that he believes is an obvious evolution for the gameplay.
According to Takeuchi, if, after seeing the E3 trailer, you feel RE5 looks like RE4 now, you'll be left with a completely different impression following the next trailer.
Previously, Takeuchi has spoken about the importance of light in the game. In this latest interview, he offered an example of how light will play a role. Say Chris enters a doorless building. The surroundings are bright and the interior is dark, so it takes Chris a few moments to adapt before he can see. The game will replicate this, along with the opposite effect of going into a bright area after being in the dark for an extended period. This is where you can expect to encounter some of the series' trademark fear, this time from the inability to aim or see.
Takeuchi wouldn't provide a solid release date for RE5, but there seemed to be some consensus of it appearing some time before 2010. It will be a long wait, but then again so was the wait for RE4, and that one turned out pretty good."
As far as girl goes, my money is on Sherry Birkin.

Just got the Wii version and I'm doing a first-time playthrough. Died twice in the village section only because I was stupid and didn't realize my shotgun was empty, the good doctor lopped my head off while I was reloading.
So now I'm playing again on my second run through, on normal to acquire ammo and refine my techniques for a Pro run. Bought a handcannon just to pick up ammo since I heard it's even more scarce then the magnum ammo. I'm already to the tunnel just before the church in 1-3, and I have 3 rounds in the chamber and -30- rounds of handcannon ammo, and I used 2 rounds on the chainsaw guy outside the chief's house. Should I be ditching the Butterfly entirely and use the unmodded cannon for boss fights (until i get a few mods into it)?

You forgot the PRL weapon, which was not in the GC version, but is in the other two. Also, the Gangster outfit and Knight Armour.
You also forgot the part where the PS2 version is easier due to less enemies showing up on screen during the gang raid parts, like the cabin, mine cart, most of the early island, the bulldozer, etc. I'd also argue that the controls are a hell of a lot more floaty on the PS2. Before the Wii version however you could make a pretty good argument for buying it, as Seperate Ways is pretty fun.
