Yeah, I know. One post. But let me assure you I have been a lurker for some time now.

Now to the point. I am bored, extremely, extraordinarily bored.
How bout a game of System Shock done Co-op?

Come now...it won't be all bad.

There is a SS2 thread already where people expressed interest in co-op play.

But to the point, I am still trying to beat it on SP, so I will have to pass.

Sure, I'd be up for it. I'm still at work now, but later tonight definitely. I just finished the game, and would be happy to try it co-op.

What stuff do I need? I have the patch, but does it have voice chat natively? Do I need anything else?

No voice chat, if your fully patched you should be fine. Message me privately if your interested and well set something up. Im free all day so I imagine I can set up a few games today. I never get bored of it so if someone is up now, or later I have the free time and the want.

I did an all-night playthrough with 2 friends. It was pretty cool. I went psi and someone else took research so I got a bunch of full-psi items and went berserk at the end with invisibility, damage resistance and super melee power.

Alright, I need to kill some time until the conference. DnvnQuinn or anyone that would like to play, hit me up with a PM. I'm ready right now.

    I have a question.

Do you have to share cyber modules? So do you end up with three characters a third as powerful as one single player character?

Cyber modules are shared in that if a player picks one up, every player gets one. Each player ends up with as many cyber modules as they would have if they were playing singleplayer.

And you don't even have to use the assault rifle to do it! The marine can carry your psi-ops and researcher for the first part of the game until the psi ops get there truly ruinous powers or until the researcher
starts using the crystal that replaces the wrench with 100 lbs. of alien beating stick.

Seriously though, it makes a larger number of characters easier to play at the beginning, and more rewarding overall. Plus theres nothing like three people standing back to back to keep those alien bastards from sneaking up behind you.
