My buddy is downloading right now.

I'd put this in the E3 thread but it's moving a page every 10 seconds. Edit: About 1.1 gigs

    Getting it right now. I'm really hoping there's a Lost Odyssey demo, as well, but this is fantastic.

    I can't wait to get a feel for the combat and exploration in this.

    Sweet, I'll go check it out. Although, I have to say, if this game is as corny as it looks, i'll be pretty dissapointed. I'm hoping against hope that it won't suck.

    I'm not really digging it too much...

    I can't really elaborate on why, it just feels very very fucking slow-paced to me. I just thought it had the same art direction, but the battle system seems to have the slow, delibrate pace of DQ (which I fucking hate like Hitler).

    I love it.

    The graphics are gorgeous, the sound and music are superb, and the combat is a lot better (and far more involved) than I had anticipated. The only gripes I have are some slowdown in combat, and some graphical issues in cutscenes (Objects slightly off-screen to the left and right seem to pop-in on my widescreen monitor. It's not really all that noticeable... but it was noticeable).

    I can't wait for this to come out :)

    Yeah the slowdown was the only thing that was bugging me other than the lyrics to the otherwise awesome music.
    Hopefully it will be fixed for the final release

    I hate demos that toss you into the middle of something with zero explanation and no tutorials. I ran around not having any idea what I was doing, and that totally turned me off.

    Might be good. I have no idea though.

    How is this compared to Eternal Sonata? The reason I ask is I won't be downloading it for a week and ES is the closest thing I could think of to compare it to.

    I'm on live now, and I see no Blue Dragon demo at all. Did they take it down?

    Also, I noticed the entry for Eternal Sonata mentions a demo, but that's not out yet.

    Nope, I go into it and there's only the Ace Combat 6 demo. It might have something to do with me being in Canada, they might have screwed us again for the moment.

    I checked for new demos this morning before coming in to work and I only saw Ace Combat in the new E3 demo. I guess blue dragon demo is down for some reason.

    Read again. Blue Dragon is down. Eternal Sonata has never been up.. the description just mentions that you can play the demo. Probably up later this week.

    I wonder why they took Blue Dragon down, was it getting hammered too hard? Also, Eternal Sonata has been taunting me since that description has been there. Hopefully, that will release soon.

    Oh, ok, thanks. I didn't pay too much attention to every post, I just went in a "holy shit get on Live" mode as I read the thread title. That, combined with the description of Eternal Sonata, well, you know the rest.
