This guy named Edgexx applied recently. He's friends with one of our hunters, so he's done BG premades with us once or twice before. It went something like "Edgexx has joined the raid group." "....so was edgex taken?" /sigh
I was doing a BRD run with some friends and my sister whispers me telling me "there's a Blood Elf Rogue here named Darklink and a Blood Elf Hunter named Legoless right next to me on the zepplin."
Sure enough, there they were in the Proudmoore Armory search. Also saw someone named "Pwnalli" an Undead Rogue.
I saw a CoV character in full black leather military gear named The.Final Solution. Also a very small super skinny human with just a t-shirt and jeans, no hair named Cancer Victim who had radiation powers. Wish I had screenshots.
Oh and I saw a guy named Ipeeconfig, I'm sure none of them lasted long.
On my server, our most badass priest got bored with raiding, so he quit his guild and formed his own, called it
<Priest Trainer>
Mage named Bobbyboucher, of <Mud Dogs>
One of my biggest pet peeves on Horde is people with the word "Hord" in their guild name.
On the subject of foreign accents on names, the main reason it is not allowed is that it prevents you from easily putting someone on your ignore list. So if Dõúçhëßàg the rogue wants to spam the [Trade] channel, there is nothing most people can do about it, because "/ignore Douchebag" wouldn't work.

You can right click and ignore them from there if they are spamming the trade channel.

I'd say that pretty much qualifies as "easy to /ignore", so, once again, whats wrong with accents on characters?
The problem with accent marks is if you want to add them to your friends list you need to know how to make those letters or have the person be within "range", or close enough to you to select them, to work. It was really frustrating having a friend named Senorita (accent mark above the a) and never being able to whisper/invite him.
A raisin in the Sun is an old movie/play about a family dealing with racism and a generally not smart father. Was a pretty boring one but that reference was worth a good laugh to me.
And points to them if they actually put that much thought into it.

Yes, I'm on an RP server.
/sigh
I would be more surprised if that wasn't a WoW guild name.

But yeah, Cancer Victim could've be clever and named himself Chemo, but I think there's already a radiation-based character with that name.
Redemption
EDIT: Ugh, the first one got compressed pretty bad. It says <DESACRATED> except the e's and a's all have an accent mark.
Terrible name. Terrible Guild. Terrible spelling.
<Beer Can Helmet> engineering guild?
<Ice Cold Milk> for all-Tauren
<That Time of the Month> for all-belf

Also, <Priest Trainer> is an awesome name.
Yes you can.
They are idiotic and if you wish to report a person for being an ass you need to be able to type in the name.
Mirabella, the Undead Rogue
Lenina, the Blood Elf Hunter
Win or Fail?
I don't know if I'm supposed to recognize those names.
Pretty sure the right click ignore was a somewhat recent development.
You can also Shift+Click someone's name and it'll paste it into the box, which has been around longer I believe.
Really threw me for a loop, i'm still baffled about what the hell it could mean.

What makes this worse is the warrior is my brothers!! O_o
What?
