Mac OSX, Mail, Bonned

Ok, so I use Mail at work. I get to work this morning, boot up my computer, get on the wifi load mail, click Get Mail and the application crashes (or as Apple like to put it 'unexpectedly quit' because Macs don't crash, mkay?).

So, alright, I load it up again, same thing happens. Three times. I reboot the computer, don't connect to the wifi, delete a bunch of old emails, empty the Trash and Deleted email folders (although oddly they don't actually have any mails in them that I just deleted, they just seemed to disappear), connect to the wifi network, Get Mail, application crashes.

So. How do I make not crash? Because as much as I'd like not to work today, I have to work today.

Delete your application preferences file in~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Mail.plist (I think that would be the filename).

Repair your permissions with Disk Utility.

If it still crashes, use the Console application to look at the CrashReport and paste it in here.
